The stuff was polite. The room was as on the photo: big, cosy and clean. The bathroom was tiny. I liked their SPA, though it didn’t have a hot tub or swimming pool, there was a salt room, Finnish sauna and infrared sauna. Breakfast was tasty, and I liked they had a vegan option even.

I have family in KG and visit usually twice a year. If you are traveling in Serbia it's a very valid alternative to places like Belgrade. There is a lot to do and see, it just takes some amount of paying attention and being willing to explore.
The central part of the city has a pedestrian walkway filled with cafes, shops, and restaurants, live music most nights, bookstores, second-hand shops, all kinds of interesting things to do and see. Prices are FAR less than say Belgrade. There is a good bus system and a Tourist Information Center to help you with that, or you can take taxis, which are quite reasonable and easy to find. There are spectacular parks, a terrific indoor pool, facilities as good as anywhere,;and some small but very high quality museums.
It's a smaller industrial city but really does have a lot to offer. It's just not quite as obvious as some larger city, and takes, like I say, a willingness to do some exploring.
A bus from Belgrade was, in 12/2023, about USD$10 one-way and took about an hour-and-a-half.

It's a very clean city with much more trees than Niš (my city). It's easy to navigate through Kragujevac and every street leads to a square where it is easy to see where you've been and where you are at the moment, it's very hard to get lost basically. There are markets (like Maxi or Idea) at every corner if you need refreshments or you don't want to go to restaurants for food.
Since we stayed there for practically one entire day (we were there at the wedding for one entire day and departed after breakfast at the hotel, thus the only one entire day), we only visited one place with great praseće pečenje (roast pork) called Aleksandar Veliki (Alexander the Great) - Google maps show a wrong location, ask locals where the restaurant is once you are up in the hill, but basically just look at the street numbers and head upward when maps tell you to stop if you don't see the restaurant; also, the restaurant was recently rebranded with this name, the name can be seen at the door inscription.
There are also a few museums near the city center, but their working hours are until 2:30 pm or 3 pm. A must see place - memorial park Šumarice and museum 21st October, a testimony of terrorism of the Nazi Germany in Serbia, a tribute to murdered students from local schools (and specifically one entire class), their teachers, friends, family and neighbors (around 2800 people were executed in mass shootings in the course of 3 days). This one has better work hours than others, it can be seen on Google and their website; the tickets are 100 RSD, so basically less than €1/$1. What may be missing is the translation of the comic since it is only in Serbian, but I advise you to use Google lens and translate it, it contains a lot of important information regarding the massacre of people in that area.

Strengths: old historical city, nice people, interesting Memorial Museum, a lot of symbolic statues, good and cheap food;
Weaknesses: old infrastructure, there are still poor houses in the downtown, there are unclean places in the downtown.
The address is wrongly mentioned here. It is a fake booking apartment.
I personally was finding this apartment, but it was available on the address present neither this apartment exists.
The phone number given is also fake. I called them many times but no one answered neither called me back.
For me, it was really a very bad experience.
I will never ever recommend it.
My suggestion - "Do book an apartment or hotel before booking only when you contact them on given specific details that it really exists."
Thank you
The room has a very good sound isolation, you can hear muffled voices of the people in their rooms from the hallway, but once you are in the room itself, everything is silent and you cannot hear anyone from other rooms.
The city centre is just there, the closest pubs and a market are in front of the hotel, museums are all a 5 minute walk from there (but their working hours are until 14:30 or 15h (2:30pm/ 3pm)).
It was on of the best staying in the hotel in my life. The personal is really friendly and open to all your requests: no problems with "white paper" request, great coffee, kettle (if you need one in your room), laundry is possible. Parking space is free and you have your own space. The best Place to stay in Kraguevac, both for short and long status. Highly recommend.
It is a great place to stay. The room was nice and cleaned every day. Quiet location but at the same time 10-15 minutes to city center by foot and 20-25 min to university and Kragujevac Plaza. Staff is exceptional - very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful and tasty. Wi-Fi is free and stable. There is also a private car parking. We will definitely come again.
Hotel is in very quiet location yet close to the city center and with free parking. The rooms were spacious, well equipped and sparkling clean. Since it is Garni hotel it doesn’t have its own restaurant but the breakfast variety was pretty decent and everyone will find something. Staff was very reserved in communication but very polite though
It's a nice hotel and it has a very good quality for that price. Perfect for a short stay. You can get to the center in few minutes and if you come by car the private parking place is just in front of the entrance. The staff has been really nice and the breakfast was also good, savoury and sweet. I would come again
Had a super pleasant experience staying here. Host is prompt to messages and
helpful! This is my third time in Kragujevac and this place was definitely the best out of all. The location is great, apartment stylish and very clean! Across the street there is a big supermarket.
Overall, i definitely recommend it!
I always stay here when in Kragujevac. This time, I was terribly delayed for arrival from delays, etc. and THEN, was 'stuck' at my hotel in Belgrade due to, I am not making this up, a State visit from the President of China! Kety was endlessly understanding and accommodating.
Simply wonderful hosts.
Great location, friendly and helpful hosts, if travelling again to Kragujevac, we will surely visit again this accommodation. The room was clean, coffee and tea, towels and basic toiletries provided. Our bedroom overlooked one of the main walking streets, so no we had no traffic noise pollution.
Breakfast is in a cafe/bar 50 m from the property, only available after 8.00 am but well worth it, superb choice and freshly cooked to your order. overall not sure isf this is the norm as there is breakfast room in hotel but it did not look like it was used very often
The hotel is located near the park and there is everything one needs in the vicinity.
The rooms are well equipped for a short-term stay.
The staff if kind and helpful.
It was a pleasure to stay in this hotel.
It was great. A plenty of space. Everything clean. The accomodation was so great that I thought to stay in it all day and enjoy instead of visiting Kragujevac.
Location excelent.
Free parking.....
Good, hospitable and friendly staff. Room was very clean. Air-condition a bit noisy but working perfectly. Hotel is located very close to the city centre. Parking secured and under CCTV.
The apartment is better than photos show. All is clean and tidy. Location is great - between city center and the Great park and Šumarice. There is a private parking in the building yard.
