The location is fantastic, providing a panoramic vista over tea plantations and Nyungwe. The hut we stayed in, albeit basic, was cosy and comfortable. Breakfast options were a little limited but the dinner options are better (great chicken quesadillas!). Dieudonné was particularly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had a positive experience. A highlight was the enchanting walk they guided us on through the hills and forest.

The scenery is absolutely amazing! The huts are super cozy and authentic! We really appreciated getting to know the people working there, they were super helpful and friendly. Great location to explore Nyungwe National Park!

The location is far better than expected ! The view is incredible and if you’re lucky enough to see the sun rising on the tea plantations… breathtaking !! I definitely could live there forever for this view!

staff were very thoughtful and kind. The fire brought into the dining room blew me away. It helped us manage the cool night. the hot water bottles! breakfast fruit was good. I had asked if they could accommodate special diets such as gluten and dairy free and there was a positive reply but they could not cook potatoes or something to replace the bread - which was too white even for the gluten eaters. The fried eggs were not appealing. The boiled eggs were fine. Dinner was delicious. getting the car washed was wonderful.

The location is great for gorilla trekking, as well as other volcanoes National park related activities. The decor of the house and artwork is great. There is a chef on the premises who is very talented.

An absolutely brilliant location, with stunning views out over the nearby tea plantation and Nyungwe forest beyond, combined with exceptional service. The food was great, the rooms were comfortable, and the manager went out of his way to help people, from arranging buses to running guided hikes in the local area (well worth it for a slightly different view of both the tea industry and the national park). We ended up extending our stay we enjoyed it so much!
