The apartment was spacious and well equipped. It added flavour to the trip because it helped us immerse in the life of the local residents. The host is amazing, helping in every way he can. He gave us tips where to go for the food and has helped with all our requests.

Wonderful historic city with small fort to climb and local heritage Centre. Take the opportunity to drive out from the city to get a real sense of the Arabian landscape especially Hegra. There are many hidden gems you can only really discover if you take a rental car - 4x4 mostly recommended for hire at the airport. Driving very easy.

The guides in Hegra are the best thing about the area.
The guides in Hegra are the best thing about the area. They are well informed and welcoming of visitors.
Al Ula overall was a disappointment this time. I had previously visited 10 years ago when there was basically nothing for tourists other than one hotel and Hegra. It’s nice to have more options now, but most of the places visited, dined with, or stayed in were charging very premium prices for average or less services. I definitely saw and experienced less of the actual place than when it was undeveloped, aside from what the Hegra guides showed. A big part of that is the barriers to doing just about anything there unless you reserve and pay up in advance. When locations are spaced apart and people run on vacation time, it’s annoying to have to fix reservations for everything. There are few walk up options, even in less crowded times. It seems a place for the less adventurous and more those who want to hang out inside a resort.
Hopefully places can find their way on service levels and become overall more competitive with the luxury desert experiences in the UAE or the more traditional leaning camps in Jordan. It’s a great area inhabited by really nice people. Those should be the faces visitors see.

We were unsure what to expect but AlUla has completely charmed us. The locals were incredibly kind and friendly and we always felt like we could approach anyone for a chat and a laugh. I was nervous about not wearing an abaya but was never made to feel bad. I would advise ladies to bring one along and just see how you feel about not wearing it. We loved the Hegra tour and the OlD Town was absolutely charming.

AlUla is fabulous - if you get a chance, you should definitely go. Transport is an issue - so a car or tour would be best, though I did it with taxis etc and it was fine, just requires a few logistics! A fabulous place to stay and amazing sights to see, with trendy and cool venues/restaurants - in addition to friendly people. It's sort of aimed at the luxury end - but I did more middling, and definitely possible!

The area is in a unique geographical and geological setting, surrounded by 500 million-year-old sandstones. These sandstones shed light on the unique palaeoenvironmental conditions that existed during the deglaciation of the Gondwanan supercontinent in the Ordovician and early Silurian periods. On top of that, there is the presence of the ancient Nabatean civilisation, which settled in this region in the late Bronze Age. Their relics speak of a thriving culture, making this place truly magical. As a result, taking a vacation in this region is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Al Ula provides spectacular scenery, archeological taste,...
Al Ula provides spectacular scenery, archeological taste, amiable weather and a lot of tourism attractions. The city is is well organized, specially the old city area, which is worth visiting at night. Some of the attractions require special permits which is a hassle snd disappointment if you dont get them in advance. It is more costlier to shop, dine and move around in Al Ula than most of other cities in Saudi Arabia.
Beautiful apartment fully furnished with modern decor . Nice clean spacious rooms .
Very large apartment with 3 grand rooms 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms laundry room .equipped with all the latest electrical gadgets .
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Al ula
The host was amazing
Very responsive and very helpful
Our trip wouldn't have been as enjoyable without the help of the owner Abdur Rehman .
He arranged food, taxis for us as language is a barrier
Overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Al ula ..
The location is nice, close to the Elephant Rock and reaching Al Ula is not a problem with a car. There is a road with sand leading to the property, so expect that your car will get a little dirty.
The staff is nice; you have to contact the owner in advance but his assistant is very nice and even though the communication can get a bit problematic due to a language barrier, he tries to sort out everything.
Nice interior
The location is around 30 minutes drive from the old Al Ula, but in a wonderful setting in the desert. You can use the facilities of Habitas hotel, which is just minutes away. They have several activities during the day, which is great. The caravan doesn't look very specious but trust me, it is not bad at all. The terrace in front is amazing for star gazing and relaxing after a long day of sightseeing.
As many others have mentioned, the real highlight of this place is the host, Mr. Abu Ali. He is an exceptionally kind-hearted man who does everything he can to make you feel welcome and can drive you around Al Ula between the places of interest (something which is very necessary in this region if you don't have your own transportation).
Room was very clean and spacious.
Very nice owner and apartments itself. You need to have car in Al ULA everything far and no apartments in the center. I would say that it is very difficult to find place in Al ULA, so if you don't want to spend 300-500€ per night, stay here. Address in booking.com brings you opposite site of the stree, so better contact owner before in WhatsApp and discuss meeting point
Great independent boutique hotel in Al Ula, you will need a car here but would definitely stay here again. Clean rooms, safe, free parking and a great pool too. They do accept card payments as well as cash (exact amount is preferred as they didn't have much change on hand when check-ing in). Under 30 min drive to the winter park where lots of al Ula tours leave from.
A good place to stay if you're visiting the tourist spots within Al Ula town. The apartment is small compared to the old apartment within the city but the design is modern. It looks like a small modern town where you can freely walk around and visit the pool. They don't have a phone but when you send a request at what's up application they will respond immediately.
The apartment is clean overall. The bed linens are white clean ..hotel standard. There is a kitchen with cooking utensils where we can prepare our own food.
The hotel owner was kind enough to accommodate us for early check in and gave us consideration to stay a little longer after check out time as we needed to eat first before starting a long drive.
Ibrahim is the best guy in whole Saudi Arabia! He helped us when we were in trouble. Room is very nice, clean and spacious. There is everything you need to have comfortable stay in Al Ula. Ibrahim recommended us restaurant with delicious cammel meat dish and showed incredible places in Al Ula. Thank you for your hospitality!
We spent 1 night here and I must say it's excellent. The staff are helpful esp. Mr. Ashfaq. The room is comfortable. Cleanliness is perfect. Welcome drinks available and free water and tea. We're planning to come back again in Al Ula and sure we'll stay again here. 😊
The location of the hoter is near to the tourist spot. The hotel caretaker is very accomodating and helphfull on what you need, of course the hotel’s sorroundings was so nice. If theres an opportunity to come back to Al Ula surely we will choose this hotel again.
A beautiful property in a convenient central location, comfortable and well-equipped tents, great hiking and scenery around the property, wonderful friendly service, wish we could have stayed longer, will certainly stay here again if we return to Al Ula
All the staff we met were very friendly and professional. The property was very beautiful, clean, and relaxing. The outdoor seating area was very nice for stargazing, and the hotel was also 7-20 minutes away from all the activities making it perfect.
Great location. Right on the main road which runs through Al Ula city. The host is a great person and very accommodating. They have a great farm within the compound so a great place to wake up to.
