Situated on Hasselö Island in the Tjust Archipelago, this hostel is only accessible by boat. It provides a fully equipped guest kitchen and communal TV lounge. A sandy beach is 200 metres away. Spread over 2 buildings, all rooms at Hasselö Hostel have basic furnishings and shared bathroom facilities. Shared laundry and BBQ facilities are available. Staff also helps to arrange boat transfers to the island. During summer daily boats depart from Västervik and at other times smaller boats leave from Gränsö Canal. When the ice is bearing, transport is by hovercraft or snowmobile. Astrid Lindgren’s World is 55 km away and Sladö Nature Reserve is 4 km from Hasselö Hostel.
