Arlanda Express Train very efficient and easy to navigate.
Arlanda Express Train very efficient and easy to navigate.
We found most things to be expensive but the city was clean and pleasant to walk around.
If time is short plan days trips carefully as city is spread out.
Abba museum over rated.
Vasa museum more memorable.

Seems like every restaurant expects you to have reserved.
Seems like every restaurant expects you to have reserved. Now we know.
The transit system is easy to use--just tap your credit card.
We enjoyed the tour of City Hall. The Royal Palace, not so much.
Lots of construction around the Slussen T-Bana station. Avoid having to transfer there.
It seems like everyone speaks English, no problem.
In general, everything is a bit more expensive than in New York.

It has a very nice historical centre and a great boat trip...
It has a very nice historical centre and a great boat trip around the archipelago. The Vasa Museum is outstanding. The local food is excellent, especially the "Meatballs for The People" restaurant, which was absolutely great fun!
The "fika" experience with good coffee, cinnamon bun, or other sweets is also excellent.
This could easily be the best hotel in Stockholm! The concept is very unique, the spaces are very well designed with creative ideas and themes. The rooms are super comfy, very well equipped and all the details are beautiful reflecting authenticity in an elegant design. The breakfast is very tasty and the staff is polite. The architecture and interior spaces, courtyard and overall style of the hotel are fantastic. The atmosphere and experience were great. I would definitely come back !
The Frantz Hotel was recommended by a friend living in Stockholm, although had never stayed. It was perfect, in fact, she joined us for dinner in the restaurant downstairs on our last night and was blown away. No doubt she will mention it to other visitors. The bed/pillows were exceptional, sooooo comfortable, the room was small but perfect in every other way and the buffet breakfast was one of the best we've ever had. Nice cosy bar too. Couldn't fault it. A wonderful week.
This lovely Hotel is located in the heart of Gamla Stan. It offers inviting and beautiful accommodations and a kind, generous and conscientious staff. The amenities are superb from the diverse food offerings to themed handmade cocktails, live music, library lounge, relaxing spa, exceptional staff and an unparalleled views of Stockholm on the water.
When I return, I will most certainly be staying here. You will enjoy your stay immensely!
Loved the location on an island in the center of Stockholm a short ferry ride from the Vassa Museum. The hotel is set in beautiful gardens with apple pear and cherry trees and families of wandering geese. Deck chairs in the garden to enjoy the pastoral setting. we were travelling with a small baby and staff could not have been more supportive. Great outdoor dining area ( weather permitting) and one of the best breakfasts ever.
We had a very nice stay in the ProfilHotel in Nacka during our city visit. The hotel is located in a calm neighborhood. The tram is starting right in front of the hotel. With it you can reach the old city with just one change within 20mins.
The best is the breakfast. The buffet is large with a huge variety of different food. The personal is friendly.
We are highly recommending this hotel for a city tour in Stockholm.
We visited Sweden and Norway for 3 weeks and stayed in the Hotel Ruth twice as we were flying in and out of Stockholm, the first time for 3 nights (at the beginning of our holiday) and the second time for 1 night (at the end of the holiday).
The breakfast was excellent, both in terms of quality and quantity, probably the best we had during the vacation.
Equally, the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Perfectly situated in Old Town. A block from the Royal Palace. Walking distance to shopping, museums, and the Ice Bar. Lots of old building full of little shops and great restaurants.
The room is large. The bathroom is clean and efficient. We had a sea-view room, which was really nice. The room is elegantly appointed with high ceilings and velvet draps.
Possibly the best breakfast I have had a hotel.
The amazing location of the hotel, right in the old city (Gamla Stan) of Stockholm makes it one of the best choices when it comes to getting accommodated in this city as this way you are in walking range to all major sites in Stockholm. The personnel was extremely nice and paid attention to make my stay as much comfortable as possible being very keen to solve any problem it might have appeared.
Lovely hotel in a beautiful location overlooking Stockholm's historical city centre on the other side of the water. The room was very spacious, with a comfortable bed and seating area, and the staff at reception and breakfast were very friendly and helpful. Also, the Södermalm island offers a 'real' (less touristy) city vibe, with great (vintage) shops and restaurants.
This hotel used to be 5 star. It used to be exceptional. But it is not anymore. I still go there because I know it well and it's comfortable to go somewhere familiar since I travel so much. It delivers on service and the breakfast is simply the best it could ever be. But the beds are motel standard and the amenities are on the cheap. It has lost its umpf.
Really nice, and modern hotel, mch better than what could be expected related to best western brand name. Easy to walk to reach main and old downtown, but a little tricky to find the way back unless you have wifi or know your way around. Good breakfast included, and a very comfortable, though small room experience. The bar and lounge area are a plus
If you want to spend your day at Tivoli, spend time and Skanssen or go see the Vasa Ship and Viking museum, it's hard not to recommend this hotel. It's perfectly located at the Djurgarden in center of the best family locations in Stockholm. The rooms itself are a bit outdated, but still comfy and clean and has a good restaurant downstairs.
The room and the bathroom were both very clean. The location is exceptional for the price - I think it's the best budget option in central Stockholm if you want a private room. We did not have breakfast, but the person at the reception was very nice and helpful. We were surprised to find out that the boat had drinkable tap water!
location is perfect, very confortable and clean, everyone super friendly and nice breakfast… it’s the 3 time im staying in this hotel and if I’m back to Stockholm, i will go again a 4th time. good ratio quality/price. Not a luxury but you will have everything you need.
Excellent location, so close to everything. Clean room and one of the best breakfasts I have experienced in my years of world-wide travelling. And the staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Stockholm, Sweden.
The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've ever had - fantastic range of selection and exactly why Swedish hotel breakfast is (in my opinion) best in the world :) Also very impressed by the self check-in and check-out process which was amazingly easy.
Very friendly and helpful staff in reception.
We were very impressed with their personal knowledge of top restaurants. We also loved the room and the interior. Best hotel that I have stayed at in Stockholm.
It's very close to a metro and a local train station. Also, many bus stops nearby. You can easily go to the city centre or to the airport.
It's cheap compared to other hotel options.
The hotel is really grand as the name suggests. You fee like you are one of the Royal Palace’s apartments and feel important. All the staff were professional and 5 star service.
