A beautiful Estate - more or less - in the middle of nowhere. Come here to find peace, relax at the pool and - of course - drink wine. We didn't (want to) do much more, so we don't actually know if or how many activities are possible, but there's a little booklet from the owner. Two to three days by the pool are enough, but the view is amazing.

The estate is wonderfully quiet with great views across the vineyards. A dip into the pool very refreshing after a hot summer day out and about. The breakfast was also great with a lot of variety an Mirjana a very friendly host.

Very warm welcome by Miriana with some of their Teran wine which we loved! Great views from the garden, whilst sitting by the fire pit and the pool. Clean comfortable room with small kitchen annex (but breakfast is too good to be using the kitchen). Good local knowledge and recommendations for excursions and food & wine.

Everything was great & beautiful, but the special round of applause goes to the host who was truly amazing & made you feel like home from the second you check-in. Truly outstanding experience, both in terms of hospitality and wine. This is also a great starting point for your Teran wine experience in Karst. The host will tell you all about the do’s and dont’s of the region so you can enjoy your time to the fullest. If you want to just chill and relax with a view, this place has you covered as well. We couldn’t be more satisfied, it is a definite „go!” in our book.

A real gem. We received a wonderful welcome from Mirjana, who greeted us with a glass of her fine Teran and we felt instantly at home. Skerlj is a historic wine estate which goes back six generations to 1788; our room was cosy and full of character with beautiful old furniture. Delicious breakfasts with homemade eggs, local jams and honeys etc. Mirjana gave us some excellent recommendations for dinner both nights. A lovely place to wind down and enjoy the atmosphere with the friendly cats and elderly dog. Thoroughly recommended, we can’t wait to return!

We had a Warm and friendly welcome. It's such a beautiful place. Authentic and with a great view over the vineyards. Breakfast is also really good. Nona gave us a lot of information and answered all of our questions. We would like to come back to this place!

Dreamy setting, with the pool facing the wineyards. Perfect for a relaxing and quite holiday, but also well located to visit the caves, castle etc. Charming and elegant yet very cost, with a family vibe about ut. Amazing breakfast and wine tasting. The host was super helpful, kind and warm. We loved everything about this place!
