I like Cha am a lot. Lovely old style beach town and not ultra modernised and commercialised like Hua Hin. We went to the Cha-am market for breakfast and bought fresh seafood (they'd steam/grill the seafood for a very small charge). Cha Am is the first nice beach town you can get to South of Bangkok. The beach and town are quite nice, while of course nowhere near the islands or Andaman coast in terms of beauty. I like it for the friendly vibe, great restaurants affordable price level and relaxing beach while on the way through to more scenic locations. You can reach Cha Am in a day when driving from the North, e.g. 10 hours from Chiang Mai. That makes it a very good stop to spend a day or two.AAnonymousThailand - 10Scored 10

Tucked away location, clean air, spotless room, excellent service, very friendly and courteous staff. Family-friendly, but lovely for couples. The restaurant food was abundant and delicious. For Me Cha Am is, South Cha am beach and north Cha Am beach...
For Me Cha Am is, South Cha am beach and north Cha Am beach. North Cha Am Beach is better for Me, a lot of Thai people and less foreigners, a good mix. Water is not Clear as in Phuket area as Rawai, Kata, Karon. very big difference. but I do like Cha Am. The town area other side road Nr. 4. I do not know, as I]m not interested in towns. I do like Cha Am much more then Hua Hin.

We loved it , amazing , kind attentive people everywhere we fell so welcomed anywhere we went Cha Am was small but plenty of shops bakeries and restaurants Plenty places to visit Palace and parks shopping is great We went to Hua Hin as well for browsing through town ,night market beach market during a day . We got taxi easy enough we called local taxi services and got taxi quicker in rush hour ,there is always someone who speak english we were impressed. It is our first trip to Cham Am or Thailand cannot praise it enough hospitality level is to learn from for others tourist destinationGannaIreland - 8.0Scored 8.0
Cha am is a great place to aim for when just arriving.
Cha am is a great place to aim for when just arriving. There is a fast bus directly from the airport. I use it the acclimatise, basically getting used to the heat and jet lag for a couple of days before moving on.

The food is impeccable and very tasty full of amazing flavors. Beautiful rooms and very comfortable beds. The beach is almost adjacent to the pool, which is great for kids and adults. The offer an excellent shuttle bus service to Hua Hin to visit the night market or its very easy to take a Grab (Uber) anywhere. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone to find peace and tranquility away from the busy city of Hua Hin.

The room is big and clean. Swimming pools are safe to play and hang around for whole family including elderly. Spa’s staff, Molly and her junior, are fantastic. They are professional. We love Thai Massage, foot massage and massage for office syndrome very much.
