Baan Suan Coconut is the sweetest little place to stay at Koh Yao Noi. I loved my small cabin, it had its own porch with a hammock! Wonderful place to relax. The bed was comfortable and soft. Many insects at night (in and outside of the room, but not in the bed), but a well functioning mosquito net around the bed. Great toilet and shower facilities, nice and clean.
The staff was very kind and friendly, let me rent a bike (the best way to explore Koh Yao Noi is by bike!).
Nearby are delicious restaurants (check out Sea Gypsy!), a place for massage and a laundry facility. Not far from the Pasai Beach either.
I stayed here for 4 nights, would love to stay longer if I'd had the time. Can definitely recommend this accommodation to everyone!

The MOST memorable stay of my trip in Thailand!! The couple that runs this guesthouse are the sweetest people ever. They treat you as their family and you really experience the local lifestyle.
“Oup” (male owner) build the whole house himself and it took him 7 years: he added so much love, character and details in this place 👌 He is also a jewelry-and woodwork artist and he likes to involves others in his work. Oup made beautiful jewelry for me and learned me how to make jewelry.
His wife “Me” is a lovely women, always smiling and bringing good vibes. She loves to cook and invited me to join for meals and cooking together, which was amazing! There are also 2 cute cats part of the family.
At the moment there’s a problem with the water system, so you shower with a bowl water from a bucket (oldschool local style). For me this was not a problem and it added something to the whole experience.
If you need to get something arranged like a scooter, island trips etc. than Oup is there to help you with everything needed.
Thank you again Oup & Me for this wonderful experience. I will never forget this and I hope to be back once again ✨

Overall the island is really lovely. It isn't as crowded and just a really good place to calm down. The only thing we didn't like was that you couldn't really swim cause the water was crowded with jellyfish and every time we tried to go in in left with a bunch of stings.

The island is very easy to get to.
Very serene and calm and a relaxing holiday escape. The island has everything you need
We mostly stayed near our accommodation but you can rent bikes/scooters/sidecars from almost anywhere. There is a local taxi service that can take you around the place also.
Bring cash. Th island has limited ATMs and most places only accept cash.

This is a lovely little island with a full range of accommodation choices and loads of wildlife to see. The bathing is difficult only because at low tide it is muddy and rocky on most beaches. Just pick high tide to swim. Lovely people. Cycling is a very good way to get round.

Very calm, peaceful and relaxing!
Very calm, peaceful and relaxing! If you want to get away from society, noise, civilization and tourists, this is your place! Beaches are not the best but they are clean and empty. The most exciting thing to do in this Island is kayaking to Nok Island (30min) and once you arrive hike the trial to the top for the amazing view! One of the best we had in our whole trip in Thailand. Also, renting a scooter and discovering the island by motorbike, stopping in each beach. So safe and relaxed. I recommend to stop by Stella's restaurant for eating o for a smoothie, super home made food and good price and views by the beach. For sunset, either Sunset bar or Hiddenout beach. Perfect place for getting away from noise but not if you want to party and meet people.

The island overall is not very built up and seems a bit rural when driving through. However there are very nice restaurants, cafes and bars to go to. We rented a scooter and drove almost around the entire island which was a very cool experience.
We were slightly dissapointed though with the beaches which we were partly to blame for as we did not research before. The tide was far out for most of the day so we didn't get a chance to swim in the sea. The beaches are all very rocky as well so even when the tide comes in I'm not sure if we could've swum.

This is a quiet and undeveloped island - so if that is what you are after it is great. I enjoyed getting on a bike and exploring the different parts of the island: remote beaches, local villages, paddy fields, plants, trees and wildlife. There are a few hills that you need to tackle but this was part of the healthy enjoyment of the island. At high tide I walked over to the small island in Tha Khao beach and swam in the sea, lay on the beach and watched the Brahminy kites - most days I was the only person there. There are some other remote beaches on the North East coast that you can hike/bike/scooter to. The best lunch spot was Chaba Cafe which has a shabby chic vibe, really good local food and serves a good macchiato. I had a few dinners at the Sook restaurant at the Suntisook resort which again had some really tasty Thai food.
I found that you need cash everywhere on the island so you need to plan to bring enough THB. There are a lot of ATMs but they either run out of cash, are out of service and on top of that charge a lot to do FX i.e. flat fee + 5%.
Our stay here was fabulous, can`t say enough good things! Boom, Film, and Tan create a very friendly and welcoming environment, helping with everything from booking excursions around the islands to making delicious cocktails. There is only one other hotel on this beach, so it is very peaceful and quiet, and the water is calm and great for swimming, kayaking etc. It is a short walk or drive to a few beach restaurants, but the food at the resort was very good as well. I would love to return!
love the aesthetic of the place (treehouse feel). breakfast crepes, best found on our adventures. Green curry flavours in a cocktail, strange but it worked. Super friendly staff, lovely location. Gave us that tropical island feel. It was quiet! a few massages and restaurants just metres down the road. Clean. Bathroom a separate little outhouse down the stairs but that was fine.
The location is perfect to relax! It has really nice pool, with view. A really nice balcony just to relax and hear the nature/animals sounds while drinking coffee. It is near to some good restaurants. It is possible to book tours, or rent a scooter or schedule a taxi directly with the hotel staff. They provide with fresh water and coffee everyday and breakfast is included.
Very nice hotel, superbly located facing a heavenly bay.
Very welcoming and caring staff. The service and the equipment are of high quality.
The villa with private pool is very well decorated and offers a lot of privacy.
The breakfast is excellent and varied.
To advise for a paranthesis of luxury and voluptuousness on an island which really deserves to be discovered.
Everything! I wish we we would’ve stayed longer. They were so kind, picked us up from the pier and dropped us off. Right away the owner asked if we’d like to rent scooters. Best decision ever! It was so fun zipping around the island. The room was absolutely beautiful, just like the photo, an excellent view and oh my the sunset!! 🙌 I would recommend this place to anyone!
Everything about this place is great. The owners are amazingly kind and helpful. They'll do everything they can to make your stay at the hotel and on the island a great time.
If you come to Koh Yao Noi, you should definitely come here, you will not regret it one second. The views is incredible, the beds super comfy.
I'll definitely return here. Thank you
Sam Sam is a superb resort on a great island. The suite we were in was huge with very high ceiling and very comfortable beds. The staff was super helpful, arranging complimentary pick up from the pier and transfer to our next hotel. We could use free bikes to cycle around the island and rent motorbikes too. We wish we had stayed for longer!
Lolevy and charming place to stay on the island. We really enjoyed our stay. The localisation is good, not far from the center and the market, and close to the beach.
You can rent motorbike as well and the owner will be happy to help you to book boat tour, transfers if need.
Probably one of the best place, we booked in Thaïlande.
The room was exceptional as was the hospitality of the senior staff. The massages were some of the best we have ever experienced (thanks to Khun Bee and Khun Nam). Chef Dawa is a magician who crafted the most unique and delectable five course wellness meal for us. In all, Six Senses offers you an experience not just a resort.
The bungalows (with small pool) and the beautiful location is really something else! The location is somewhat remote but a scooter or bicycle will sort that out for you.
Don’t be a cheapskate and get a bungalow without a small or big pool, this is wat make these bungalows and resort the excellent place what it is!
The villa had everything we needed. All the facilities are well maintained. Rooms are huge.
The pool is great and the garden around it looks amazing. The best resort we had in Thailand. Price is accordingly. But I think it worth it.
The staff is great. Always available and with a smile.
I hope to return one day.
The pool and location are the selling points of this hotel. Its in a great part of the island and the pool was lovely and really deep.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
The hornbill nest to the side of the hotel is so lovely to watch while you're in the pool. The grounds are really lovely.
Very friendly staff. They try to accommodate every request I had without any problem. Very good breakfast! The room was nice and spacious, immersed in nature. All very clean. The view of the sunset from the hotel is magic. It is easy to hire a scooter and go around the island,
This place is a whole adventure.
The hotel is inside the jungle, that means that the place is absolutely beautiful, but you can't go outside by your own.
The rooms are amazing and the breakfast is pretty good.
Charming place, very nice island, best views...
Good quality food. Peaceful. The hotel rents motorbikes.
Very friendly staff. Nice spa with good service and acceptable prices.
We loved Koh Yao Noi, the island is beautiful, the staff is so very nice and helped us get to rent a motorbike, everyone was so kind, and the hotel was very peaceful !
Very nice and helpful owner. comfy bed. clean. one of the best value stay in the island. location consider convenient, owner could help arrange bikes rental.
