Beautiful and quiet area, the hotel very nicely designed, a combination of Swahili and European style. we used the hotel restaurant, we enjoyed the food very much and did not ruin our budget. Peronel was very nice and helpful to us, thank you!

Very nice people and so relaxed. I was first in another part in Zanzibar and here there are no people who want to sell you things. I once asked for coconut juice and the fresh coconut was taken of the tree. You feel safe. The views are beautiful.

For us it seemed like a romantic, intimate location (only 4 villas, thus max 15-20 tourists). The staff was very kind to assist us with everything we needed on the way (like trip to Jozani forest and butterfly center+transportation back to the airport), food was tasty and rather diverse, nice pool and villas close to the ocean (A/C was good to compensate the heat). They also brought us drinking water each day.

A great place to relax! Clove Island is a small boutique resort located in a quiet and picturesque area, right on the ocean. The hotel has everything you need for a perfect holiday. We really enjoyed the rooms, and their unique and very fancy decor, such as furniture made from traditional boats from Zanzibar, is really impressive. We would like to thank the managers very much for their very warm and friendly welcome and their help in organizing a trip to Jozani Forest, the managers are really knowledgeable about Zanzibar, always ready to help or advise. We hope to return here someday!

A beautiful boutique hotel away from the maddening crowds on a nice community beach with various livelihoods going on. Minimal pitches from hopeful touts and sellers. At the same time close enough to access some great spots including the nearby and very lively Jambiani and Paje. Staff were great and managers extremely helpful also with organizing hassle free trips to all the spots. Good restaurant, tasty food, very comfortable rooms and a nice pool.

Amazing and very kind service, not simply accommodating the needs but anticipating them. The villas are simply right, well equipped and very carefully furnished. The beach is calm and despite the sea not being on par with other parts of the island, the calmness makes up for it. Very very very recommended.
