Very good location, just off the main beaches at kendwa, around a 15 minute walk. Very comfortable room, with its own pool and area to relax. The food was so tasty...even if you don't stay here, it's worth the trip to spend an evening on the roof terrace and try the many great dishes and good vibes. Finally, the hosts Made and Farid are talented artists and beautiful people who will make your stay live long in the memory.

Made was an amazing host and is an amazing artist, and the whole place was beautifully decorated with her art work. I really enjoyed breakfast as well. It’s 15mins walk from the beach, so you get to avoid tourist traps.

really nice place about 20-30min on foot away from both the (in my opinion) most beautiful beach of zanzibar and a gym in nungwi. the owner madeleine and her team were very pleasant and made the stay perfect. also the restaurant was very good and the prices very fair. will come back if i will return to zanzibar one day.

Breakfast was delicious, and overall the food i had at the restaurant. Location was 10 min away walking from a private beach; safety neighborhood and overall what you need for a calm holiday. Madeleine, the owner of the property, was a great introduction to Zanzibar and we had interesting talks, and she even took initiative to help out for different things needed and she has plenty of contacts to helps for safari, drivers, trips. The place is a home away from home, so serene and to come back. As a solo traveller is a perfect spot in north of the island.

We enjoyed our stay at the Peanut and Butter Guesthouse and Bistro so much. Madeleine (the host) is so kind and attentive. Everything was clean, the room was spacious and we really felt comfortable all the time. Breakfast is amazing and so are all the other meals we tried there. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

This place is a gem for a travelers heart. The owners Made&Eric are incredibly friendly, helpful and super chilled. The food is delicious, the room with pool is unique and the dogs just adorable.I had a wonderful time staying there, it felt like home. I am looking forward to come back one day and listen to some great music on the roof top.
