If you love art, wine, food, and shopping, you’ll love Temecula! Many wineries and other activities are close by. Don’t miss visiting Old Town and the Plantation for an olive oil tasting. A short drive up Rte 79 you’ll find some unique sculptures, and you can visit Lake Skinner for outdoor hiking. Plan a few days so you can take it all in, or visit often as things are always changing!

EXCELLENT SHORT STAY IM IMPRESS WITH THE PLACE. #1 FOR ME ON ANY PLACE i CHECK IN IS THE CLEANLINESS OF THE ROOM & BEDDINGS... THIS PLACE PROVED IT. THE GROUND WELL KEPT; LOTS OF BREAKFAST CHOICES; VERY ACCESSIBLE TO DOWNTOWN OLD TOWN, NUMEROUS WINERIES, MANY EATERIES AT OLD TOWN, PECHANGA CASINO 10-15MINS AWAY AND ABOUT 30-45MIN TO OTHER PALA CASINO HARRAHS CASINO, VALLEY VIEW CASINO, PAUMA CASINO, CATHOLIC MISSION CHURCH A MUST SEE. I liked that there were fast food restaurants available within 500 to possible 800 feet from the entrance of the Holiday Inn Express. that was a big + for me. The fast food places were: Wendy's, In-n and Out and Arby's on the end. If your tastes were different, these were good choices for your selection,
I ate at all three places.
It seemed to be easy to get around. Most places were within walking distance.

Breakfast was good; however, more meat options would have been better. Some of the sandwiches'bread had become hard after being under warming light for more than 2 hours.
Have dishwasher serviced after a month's rental. (Dishwasher. door kept opening during wash cycle.) Had to keep pushing door to lock to finish wash cycle..
I ordered Uber Eats - Burger King.
Went to Union 76 Station to buy sodas, water & chips.
Had someone go to Aldi's to shop for cold cuts, & various items.i.e milk, ,mayo, mustard & bread, lettuce, tomatoes for sandwiches after hours.
Getting around in Temecula is easy if you use Uber or Lyft.
Walking takes longer to get to a destination.
Be sure to rent a car..
The location is close near a lot of restaurants, fast food places, Old Town Temecula, the wineries wasn’t too far of a drive, gas stations are super close, and so was the Promenade Mall. I also love the room’s color choices and how clean and spacious it is. Staff was nice and the property has a lot of parking which is pretty amazing and the parking is spacious as well. 24 hour access fitness center and the pool.. which was a plus since my girlfriend enjoys a good work out.
I felt welcomed during my stay, the staff was very friendly and professional in appearance, neatly dressed and well groomed. The property was well maintained; landscaping, exterior of the hotel, etc so driving into the property gave me a good feeling. My wife and I only stayed one night but wished we could stay longer…we’ll do that the next time.
The hotel was very clean and welcoming. We really liked that it was so close to Old Town and not too far from the wineries (an easy 15-20 min Uber/Lyft ride). Hotel was a great location, right off the freeway with food options all around too. Room-service was great & convenient too!
The value for the quality and location is is the best. Right next to Stampede at the base of Old Town Temecula. They have updated rooms that are cozy and accommodating for your stay. Bedside charging ports for your phones.
My daughter &I took an overnight trip. The hotel was perfect, very clean, 2 beds, the breakfast was delicious, 5 min drive to Old Town, close to shopping/restaurants. Employees polite and welcoming.
Hotel was easy to get to. The staff was quite indifferent during check-in. No free breakfast was offered. And before check out time a maid walked right into our room after a brief knock on the door.
The Avila Suite is a beautiful room. The bed and sheets were so comfy. My husband and I loved the suite and woud stay there again for a trip to Temecula wine country
