excellent stay good location, very clean, very well decorated We felt like we were in our own home. Betsy is an excellent hostess. The place has everything you need for a great vacation, including 2 great beach chairs and a beach umbrella. One One of the best places we've ever stayed. I definitely recommend it.

Aloha, and thanks for your interest in our refreshingly redone little slices of paradise. We LOVE Maui and are guessing you will too! We meet ALL our guests in person at check-in and share your entry key code then. Please let us know if you have any special needs before and during your stay and what we can do to make it more enjoyable! If anything comes up that needs our assistance, before, during or after your arrival and stay, please contact us at once and we'll be there to support you. Our places are ground floor and away from street noise, so they are genearlly peaceful and relaxing - hence the name 'Maui Tranquility.' Because they are in a complex with other condos, there can be exceptions. If you are a light sleeper or bothered by nearby people living in other units please keep this in mind. Maui also has a sizeable number of feral chickens and roosters that sometimes wonder near the property and they could awake you if you're a light sleeper. We do supply ear plugs and the Alexa dot near the bed can be asked to play sleeping sounds that mask outside noise. The fan and AC can also be turned on to blunt the noise if necessary. If any of these things are an issue, please consider our other property Maui Tranquility II which has whisper quiet AC and no roosters nearby. We've paid meticulous attention to aesthetics, comfort and cleanliness. Our guests tell us they love it and love staying with us. We hope you do as well! His program, The Blue Bus, airs 2-5pm HST every Thursday afternoon and his Musical Starstreams program every Sunday night into Monday morning from midnight to 4am HST. This location is on South Kihei Road, in Kihei and has miles of beach front including Kalepolepo Beach, which is more secluded and private and just across the street. Other favorite beaches are the Kamaole Beaches (Kam 1, 2 & 3) which are a few miles South on S Kihei Road and have showers, bathrooms and lifeguards on duty. There are shopping centers, grocery stores, a health food store, clubs, bars, the Kihei post office and some of Maui's best restaurants within walking distance or just down the road to the South. Maui's best Indian restaurant - Monsoon India, is steps away, right across the street with views of the Ocean and another of our favorites - Sansei, is just a few miles South, on South Kihei Rd. If you're here the fourth Friday of any month, Kihei hosts 'Fourth Friday' a fun outdoor party event in the parking lot of the Azeka Shopping Center about a mile and a half to the South on S Kihei Rd. In short, whatever you'd like to experience here on South Maui is close by!
