Pigeon Forge is a family entertainment hotbed in the Great Smoky Mountains. Though ‘great’ is quite an understatement, as the sight of blue mist hovering above forested peaks is simply breathtaking.
The most famous attraction is undoubtedly Dollywood, where a steam train puffs around a host of rides and shows in a theme park named after country legend Dolly Parton. Within the grounds is the Southern Gospel Museum and Hall of Fame, and next door are pools and waterslides at Dolly’s Splash Country.
Cowboy boots should be at the ready for the singer’s Dixie Stampede dinner theatre and the Country Tonite Theater, and toe-tapping is also virtually guaranteed at the Grand Majestic Theater and Smoky Mountain Opry.
The Old Mill is a wooden watermill on the Little Pigeon River, once part of a forge complex which sparked the town’s name. Also by the river are some Pigeon Forge outlet malls and the NASCAR SpeedPark which hosts car and truck events. The Elvis Museum houses memorabilia of ‘The King’ while the Titanic Museum is a floating, half-size replica of the doomed ship.
This is just the tip of the iceberg and with Booking.com’s great deals on pet-friendly hotels and cheap motels on Pigeon Forge Parkway, you might just be tempted to do what the town’s sign requests: Y’all come back.

We enjoyed our visit to Pigeon Forge sweetly nestled in the Smoky Mountains. We visited the area a couple of years ago and were surprise to see that it is becoming more commercialized. But love the area all the same
It is a wonderful place for honey mooners, famlies, and spring breakers. There are great amusement parks and resturants and shopping. However, sadly not very conducive to retirees.
Gatlinburg is very close and also a must visit. After enjoying shopping, resturants, and many family activities be sure to enjoy hiking and breathing in the Smoky Moutain scenic views and the crisp fresh air.

A unique community…very adventure entertainment centered. Being able to drive to Great Smoky Mountain national park within 20 minutes, close to Gatlinburg. We’re new to the upstate and it was a great locale for a 3 night getaway.
The wheel on the Island, shops and Sky Fly was good fun, Parrot Mountain (10 min drive) was another first for us, so many beautiful birds to interact with. Next time we’ll tackle Dollywood when the great grandkids in tow.

I always love going to pigeon forge riding around the country side looking at old farms, the hills and things that are left natural as they are. I like the attractions for the grand kids though sometimes they can be quite crowded. Good places to eat but with the inflation like it is things aren’t as affordable as they once were.

The city is well organized and very clean, it seems like you are in Orlando, the marquees of all the businesses and establishments are theme parks, there are many hotels, restaurants and many attractions.
I stayed at the Best Western Tiny Inn hotel, it is spectacular, especially because it has a heated pool and internal jacuzzi and the area is spectacular. In addition, the free breakfast included is luxurious and the rooms and service are very clean. Next door there is a Texas Roadhouse, my favorite restaurant, we also ate at the Sunliner Diner, the place is spectacular set in the 50s, the food is very delicious and the most spectacular thing is the Banana split dessert, we had breakfast at Reagan's Wafle House, it is a super buffet rich and varied, we went to the Titanic Museum, and the La Isla shopping center, the animated fountain with lights and music is great and the Skyfly is like a Disney Soarin attraction. We also went to Gatlinburg which is only 20 minutes away, there we went to Obermountain on the cable car, we went up to the Skypark which has the highest connecting bridge in the city and to the Anakeesta with the tallest tower.
During rush hour traffic is complicated because the city only has one main street with three or four lanes, but you can easily pass by looking at all the spectacular marquees of businesses and attractions.
Upon arriving, we were greeted by Keith, who was so sweet and made us feel very welcome. That is something I definitely notice when I walk into a hotel. A smile and a friendly hello makes all the difference and Keith showed that!
Room and bed was very comfortable and the pool was wonderful. Perfect temperature of water! Loved how the pool was open 24 hours, unlike other hotels that close by 10, cause after a fun filled day, it was nice to go for a swim and sit in the hot tub before heading to bed 😊
Is located right in the Pigeon Forge main strip. We we’re able to walk to all the places we wanted to visit. Good, shopping and activities all within walking distance. The trolley pick up is close by as well. Inside and outside pools. The River out back with rocking chairs everywhere to enjoy. Rooms are nice. They are actually updating everything which will make it even nicer! We will definitely make this our hotel when we stay in Pigeon Forge/Galtinburg area. And the price was unbeatable!
The Inn On The River is a small hotel but very nice and a good value. The location was great. It is right on the Parkway, with a nice restaurant right next door and Starbucks across the street, and it was a short drive to all the activities in Pigeon Forge. The room was nice and clean. We had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. They served hot breakfast from 7-10 am that was really good and the hotel staff couldn’t have been nicer! I would definitely stay there again.
We absolutely love this hotel. This was our second stay here. The kids absolutely LOVE the indoor pool, which also includes a kiddie pool & a hot tub, with poolside tables and chairs. The staff are amazing, very helpful and polite. The view is amazing, with ducks and geese along the riverside just outside the hotel. Located on the parkway just down the street from all the major attractions.
We will defiantly stay here again. I will recommend this hotel to everyone that says they are coming to your area to stay here. Beds where great. Furniture was beyond perfect. Clean. Shower was great. Balcony was a nice touch to sit and listen to the water from the creek running.
Great location that allowed access to secondary streets to avoid traffic on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge. The suite was bargain priced and provided plenty of room for 4 people. It could easily sleep 5-6 if air mattresses were used. Close to Dollywood and the Cal Ripken ball fields.
Great hotel and perfect location. Really happy with how close we were to everything. The staff went above and beyond with a great attitude. My young kids under 12 loved the pools. Again, great time in a beautiful area. Will be our only hotel in the Pigeon Forge area we stay at.
We always stay at the LeConte Hotel and Convention Center when we visit Pigeon Forge. It's a lovely, well-kept hotel, exceptionally clean rooms, nice pools, friendly staff, and a really good breakfast. I highly recommend Leconte Hotel and Convention Center!
Hotel was great. Did not match description on website. Once I got past disappointment of not marching description it was good. Great value for the price but definitely is not a 4 star hotel. That being said we would stay there again.
Great location next to Dolly Parton's stampede and right on the entertainment strip of Pigeon Forge, but we never had any disruption to our sleep because of that proximity - at night the area was peaceful peaceful easy to sleep in
this was like a resort and we absolutely loved everything about our stay!! the staff were exceptionally helpful and generous, the location was perfect for pigeon forge, the hotel exceeded all expectations!
the hotel was away from the busy side of pigeon forge, the river view was nice from the balcony, the breakfast was great and the beds were extremely comfortable. The room was clean and staff was friendly.
Balcony view, cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed at in pigeon forge, super friendly staff, easy check in, beautiful rooms, great room, nice housekeeping 😃
