Close to Sequoia National Park, and we saw loads of wild hummingbirds buzzing around in the morning, which was great. Friendly goats on the ranch and the staff were very friendly!

Very nice place, clean and homey, lots of nice small touches, snacks and wine. Fully equipped to cook, including salt, spices, oil etc…
Two big rooms with 2 bathrooms were perfect for our family. There are several deck/terrasse on each side, so you can enjoy the sunrise or sunset depending on your preference.
The property is close to the park entrance.
We only stayed for one night on our way out of the park, but we would stay longer. It was very relaxing and confortable.

The house is spotlessly clean, the beds are very comfortable and the explanations on how to get there were clear.
We had a very pleasant family stay in this little haven of peace. Thank you for this amazing hospitality during our trip! We recommend 100%

This home was perfect: the interior design was done with a lot of love and everything was there (even a phone charger next to each bed). I felt at home.
We even saw 3 deer coming by and Totem market nearby was ideal for breakfast and dinner.

Great views; very clean and lovely homely touches. It had everything you would want in a rental home.

Nice little community right outside the southern sequoia entrance. Perfect if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to stay with very nice people. The area has nice places for lunches, coffee, and gas but the nearest grocery store is at least 15 miles away.

The original room was horrible, I was stunned they would even offer it to us. Back door had air gap letting cold air in, no deadbolt on it. Old flooring in living room, carpet in bedroom was soaked. They moved us to another room, smaller, 2 beds. No apology or refund (they also overcharged us $30 for a 2nd night). I’ve attached pictures of the new room . Bathroom shower needs serious repairs and the ceiling is shoddily repaired. Ac/heater unit is ancient and loud. Only way to turn off bed light is to unscrew the bulb. Other bulbs are burnt out. It appears the hotel is hanging on by a thread. Should be banned from booking.com. Not up to standards by any means

Hotel has great potential but cleanliness of my room was a great disappointment. Even after raising our concerns they were not fully addressed.
Pizza place just down the road was surprisingly good.
Although the heart of Sequioa NP is only 30 miles away, it takes at least one hour because of a very steep, narrow and winding road. Elevation gain is over 4,000 feet.

It's a beautiful spot for one night. Unfortunately Sequoia Nat'l Park had a few road closures and much of the park was off limits.
We stayed and ate at the Gateway Inn which is close to the entrance.

Beautiful small town with tons of unique local joints to check out! Sadly we were only in the area for two days to visit the national parks, but I wish we had another day or two to check out the town itself. Everyone we met was super friendly and the food and drink options were refreshing after trekking around Sequoia and Kings Canyon all day.

Three rivers is a very charming town to drive through on the way to the majestic Sequoia park, but what thing to really keep in mind is what season you go. I have been through Three Rivers more than a 10 times as a traveler from Los Angeles so I know.
The most breathtaking time to go is early spring, March to April because everything turns into emerald green and the waterflow is abundant, specially noteworthy is when you first see the snow capped mountains of the Sequoia park. Anytime after June all the way to October, everything looks kind of dry and it gets very hot and touristy.
In Winter - Nov through March, you will most likely have to put chains on your tires and it's a bit more hazardous driving through the curved roads going up to the mountain. Also it gets very cold and many of the trails become alot tougher to walk on. Just keep in mind, that during winter, it's a calculated risk driving even with snow chains, one slip up and your car can easily fall off a cliff. Henceforth, I have mostly avoided going in winter time, buy hey don't let me stop you if feel like a daredevil.
Go during March or April, you will have the most beautiful scenery through Three Rivers and specially the Park.
The Lazy J is well positioned for a visit to Sequoia. It really is like staying on a little ranch.Three rivers is as well a really cute little place and very beautiful.
We even managed to see a bear the day we we were leaving, although we were assured by the friendly housekeeping that this was a rare occurrence.
The swimming pool is very clean and a welcome cool down after a very hot day on our roadtrip.
The hummingbirds were amazing to watch
It's a nice motel. The room is decent - a nice shower, a fridge, memory foam (I think) mattress. All completely fine.
The best bit of the hotel is the restaurant and amazing views of the river. The restaurant is pricey and the food is good but not great. But the river is beautiful in the day and all lit up at night which makes it really magical so worth every penny.
Location is great. Right on the main road driving into Sequoia National Park. Three Rivers is a charming little town. The hotel has nice views of the mountains around. The building feels new and the room is super clean and comfy. And the kids loved the hot tub and swimming pool.
We loved Early mornings on the back porch watching the wildlife. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals and beds were comfortable. Perfect location to explore Sequoia National park and still have access to restaurants and shops in three rivers.
The house was wonderfully comfortable and well equipped. We loved the amazingly comfortable bed, the high quality appliances and the views from the large deck (great for stargazing). The location was excellent for visits to Sequoia National Park
Very close to Sequoia NP, which is why I booked this motel. It has a pool and a playground for little kids, so families might enjoy it. But we spent the whole day in the park, driving and hiking. Hotel was just to crash and sleep.
Location was alright (you still have to drive an hour to get to the park). Honestly given all options, I would recommend to come with a tent and live inside the park - otherwise you will pay a lot of money for pretty old hotels.
We felt very comfortable. The accommodation corresponds to the description. It is very well located, Sequoia National Park is about 10 minutes to drive. Mark is great host, always available, always helpful, well organized.
Old style bungalow hotel so only had about 15 rooms (that I could see). Super friendly & helpful manager (?owner). Rooms were small but charming, warm, nicely decorated; easy parking.
Lovely fun motel/ hotel which is obviously popular with the locals. Our room was dated but clean and I'd say the decor was inkeeping with what we expected. Bonus sauna in the room!
The location was great. The room was comfortable and clean but since it is a motel, do not expect state of art facilities like in hotels. It was good stay overall.
Very well located a few miles from Sequoia National Park entrance.
A small selection of restaurants are nearby.
The swimming-pool is probably a plus in the summer.
