Nice cabin, got in late so I did not have to wait to enter my unit. Ate breakfast at the place next door, the food was okay but not great. The cabin on the other hand was really nice, well done, super comfy.

We loved everything. The balcony, the comfortable interior, the location, and the generosity of the hosts who provide everything you need to cook and have a log fire and barbecue. Iy was spacious for 6 people. Cosy and warm. Simply amazing! The best holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in. Just wish we had booked for longer.

The town is some 25-30 minutes from the Rush Creek resort where we stayed.
We only drove through Groveland, it seemed to have a lovely one block downtown with BBs, restaurants, and a few other stores. On the road to Yosemite from San Francisco through Manteca, Groveland is the most picturesque little town.

I had trouble finding Groveland, was late at night. the owner/manager came and found me! Wonderful service.
Had problems finding the correct roads to Groveland, then to Yosemite. I did finally get it all together and thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

Unexpectedly charming town with way more facilities then we had imagined. The local saloon is awesome, so is the grocery store. We didn't really have time to explore the other options (as we were there to visit Yosemite) but there were plenty more interesting eating/drinking options around.

I wanted a more plush room.
I wanted a more plush room. This one is adequate but the pillows were too hard and the bedding too thin for winter. Also the bed itself was not plush.
It’s not the fault of Westgate. I tried to book at another more plush hotel but I was told there were no more rooms. Come to find out there were no more rooms at the price Booking.com got to offer. I’m learning.

Our family of 10 stayed for 2 nights very comfortably, the property has central AC and BBQ ready for family fun, there is a local market nearby where we bought foods for BBQ and cooking, over all we are happy and would recommend anyone that heading to Groveland.
Double queen room was large and comfortable with lots of natural light during daylight hours. Great shower! Expansive wrap around porch right outside the room was delightful. Whole building is thoughtfully designed to be a B&B. It is both charming and highly functional. The Iron Door Saloon in nearby Groveland (2 mi) was great fun for a casual dinner. Breakfast was made to order when we were interested in eating it, rather than at a set time. Thank you, thank you! Hosts were helpful, friendly, and engaging.
The location was great to explore Groveland and easy to get to Yosemite which we did really early and encountered no problems finding parking. the air conditioning worked great as the temperatures were close to 100 degrees. It fit our 3 generation family well. The kids loved seeing the deer in the morning sleeping under the deck. If it wasn't so hot we could have enjoyed the close proximity to the beach. Looks like new and large washer and dryer.
All of the three rooms that our family party stayed in were modern clean and well equipped with comfortable beds. The pool and hot tub area was a welcome addition to cool us off after a day travelling and time in Yosemite valley. The dinner attached was perfect for dinner and breakfast and saved a trip into Groveland. I have to say the staff were very friendly and helpful , well done team! Thank you
fantastic stay! the facilities at the lodge are great with the tavern and restaurant there. we got upgraded to a 2 bedroom cabin which was lovely. it’s so pretty to walk around at night. watch the sunset, grab a drink, or hang out in your cabin. the location for visiting Yosemite was perfect. would definitely return. also the products in the bathroom were lovely.
Nicely maintained historic hotel with ambience. All the staff we interacted with were very nice. Finn, the owner, very personable and really wants your stay to be the best it can be. Food in the on-site tavern was very good. They have a beer garden newly installed in the back that was very popular. Free parking and no extra charges such as resort fees.
Great family run B&B with a nice a cozy atmosphere, spacious and clean rooms in a beautiful house where the hosts are also leaving. I have appreciated the breakfast as well, to start the day fully charged. The location is good in a small town with all services and restaurants, at reasonable distance (around 40 minutes) from the Yosemite West entrance.
Good location, fairly close to Yosemite (40 min or so), however the groveland town is very charming itself. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was very clean and full of character. The food served at dinner was amazing and the breakfast place next door didn’t disappoint.
Breakfast included. Eggs Benedikt were super delicious. Close to Groveland for Dinner (I recommend the Iron Door Saloon). Perfect if you want to rest for your next day hike at Yosemite NP (30 minute driving distance to the West Gate). Saw more wildlife during our stay there, than in Yosemite NP itself. Awesome night sky!
The historic hotel building is exceptionally well maintained, the staff are delightfully helpful and the experience was memorable. Will make sure that we stay at Groveland every time we are in the region. The food offered was of top restaurant quality, served beautifully and enjoyed in the open air garden.
Fantatsic set up for families. So much to do without even leaving. Proximity to Yosemite national Park is perfect. Highly recommend staying here, it's even better than the website once you're there. Exceeded my expectations and is much nicer than any other accommodation in or around Yosemite.
Beautiful old house with lovely furnishings in a great location close to Yosemite. The owner Is exceptionally welcoming. She gave us fantastic advice and provided a delicious breakfast,
early, so we could make the most of our day in Yosemite. We loved our stay in Groveland.
The location is very good, near the entrance to Yosemite Park (approximately 15 minutes). Rooms are clean and new (not so old as other hotels have). My kids liked the hotel's playground.
We were here 2 years ago and recommend this place for our friends.
we loved our stay here and would definitely stay here again. situated near to Yosemite national park and good food options within walking distance. good value for money. free hot drinks and muffins available in the morning. very friendly staff
Very nice interior and everything was perfectly clean! Yosemite Nationalpark was easily accessible in 40 min. A little grocery store with everything you need near by (5 min by car). We were a group of 4, the sleep sofa was good to sleep.
incredible and nice bungalow hotel in the middle of the nature, one hour apart from Yosemite park entry. we loved it to stay there and enjoy nature and this nice and cosy hotel.
The room and the whole building were ok. The location is good, but not so close to Yosemite. The interesting fact - the oldest saloon in California is near!
