Room was good. Location was excellent as we were catching train and was within walking distance. However (not hotel’s fault re homeless people), the homeless situation and the campus rally was a bit unnerving.

And Leo at Airport LaQuinta, you were so rude to my mother she cried then you made me cry three hours later when I too noted that you did indeed bill us both for those last nights. Leo yoy better not cross my path. And number two out there, Micheke i think was kinder a few days later but poo-pooed researching my mom charges at the sane time as mine so NO ONE HELPED WHEN YOU ROBBED US. And i called everyone, everywhere associated with LaSuckoff to no avail. I left messages, sent emails, nothing but you want my opinion? Well you havent seen the last of me LaQuinta Airport Portland Iregon i wouldnt waste your money advertising. You should save it for a pr team to repair whats com8bg fir you. The best thing about Portland are the family members who live there; they are the reason for our visit. We do enjoy going to many sites in Portland including the various gardens: Rose Garden, Chinese Garden, Japanese Garden, Pennisula Garden, Rhodendron Garden, and just walking around neighborhoods seeing the beautiful trees and plants. Powell's Bookstore is a must. We went to a Thorn's (women's Pro soccer team) game. It was exciting. There are many good food options in Portland. We like the zoo and of course there are many sites nearby to visit including a plethora of "falls" like Multinoma and Bridal Veil. The beauty of the city is blighted by homeless camps which lead to much litter, etc.

Portland, you're a breath of fresh air, reminiscent of my beloved Calgary with your mellow pace of life. Yet, you offer a gentle winter, free from the icy grip that defines our seasons. Your embrace of the LGBTQ community and the effortless kindness of your residents have been a revelation, challenging the media's portrayal with a beautiful reality. A heartfelt shoutout to Moxy Portland Downtown for their uniquely fabulous vibe and warm hospitality. You've been the highlight of our journey. As we conclude our road trip across the US Pacific Northwest, it's clear—Portland, you're the perfect finale. 🌲✨

    Enjoyed the nature and greenery.

Enjoyed the nature and greenery. Went to Providence Park for Timbers soccer match and would highly recommend. I liked Washington Park with the Japanese Gardens and Rose Test Gardens. Liked walking around Powell's Books. Really enjoyed walking around NW District neighborhood, and eating at Sweet Bacon Cafe and Scottie's Pizza Parlor. Recommend staying at Inn at Northrup Station in NW District or the Tiny Digs Hotels in Kerns neighborhood in East Portland. Enjoyed Screen Door restaurant at East Portland. Trail Blazers Basketball game at Moda Center was fine. There is a lot of homeless and possible drug use around downtown Pearl District. Never felt threatened or in danger but definitely need to be cautious.

I loved coffee in the morning and breakfast is awesome too. Staff at Grill is very nice and takes care of customer very well and every morning I see they are overwhelmed. Rooms are good and specious and very clean. Minor thing is you will see traffic if you need to do to downtown in morning time but that's nothing to do with hotel but next time i may prefer Holiday in NW Portland to avoid traffic. But this location is definitely very good experience and I may look to come back at some point especially if I am travelling with my family.

The friendly staff greets you and a clean modern lobby is a nice start. The room is small but well acquainted. The beds are very comfortable as are the sheets pillows and fluffy throw. I like that it had a microwave and a mini fridge and I left watching The MAX train go by outside. It's right across the street from the convention center, so if you have any plans at the convention center it's a perfect hotel to stay at. The view of downtown Portland is also wonderful to see from their rooftop restaurant and bar.

Perfect location to explore Portland. Three of us stayed in one of their suites and we had plenty of space for everyone. Having a kitchenette was a huge bonus for us with Trader Joe's and a couple of other grocery stores near by which allowed us to prepare breakfast at the hotel. Another big bonus is the free parking as we rented a car and didn't have to worry about paying for parking. Overall this is the best deal you can get in Portland for the money.

Friendly, helpful, and knowledge staff. Easy freeway access, only a few min drive to downtown, Pearl District, and Old Town. Free coffee all day. Free and ample parking, dog friendly. Indoor slippers, bench for luggage/putting on shoes, and black makeup towels are a nice touch. Deluxe King room is bigger than the picture shows and has a nicely equipped kitchen with a full size fridge. Sound proofing between rooms is better than expected.

Great downtown location. We are long time visitors at this old classic Portland hotel. But this was our first visit since the change of ownership. The rooms have been nicely updated. We went during an epic snow and ice storm as we had been without power at home for 4 days. There were many challenges for the staff posed by the storm and they did a great job holding things together and providing excellent hospitality.

The hotel had a very Portland hipster feel to it. The room had concrete floors and a cool lounge chair with a tray for hanging out and eating/drinking/writing while looking out the window (though my room didn't have much of a view). You're right in the heart of the Pearl District and a short walk away from Powell's Books, so there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby.
