The room was large - 2 king beds. The walk-in shower was new and very nice. Towels were fluffy. There was a kitchen with utensils, cookware, coffee maker, hot water maker, dishes, microwave and mini frig. Although, the stove top was cracked and the oven was broken, so we didn't use them. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, drug store and market. Sat farmer's market next door at Parker school was a treat. A couple of years ago we stayed at the ISO on Kauai, another one of Castle properties, that we very much enjoyed so we choose this one on Big Island but they are very different.

We loved the huge sized apartment with separate bathrooms/ensuites for everyone in our group of four! The pool area was practical, large enough for its purpose and close to the apartment. this nice apartment has everything you could need. nice to have washer and full kitchen. Even had spices. the beach equipment was great for the kids. spent so much time at the beach we didn't get a chance to try the pool. the view in the morning of the water and sometimes maui was great
