Wir haben während der Patria Gaucha, dem jährlichen traditionellen Volksfest, in dem Container gewohnt und waren froh, dass wir so kurzfristig in Tacuarembo noch diese Unterkunft gefunden haben. Natürlich war der Preis sehr hoch, aber dafür hatten wir Verständnis angesichts der Bedeutung dieses tollen sehenswerten Festes. Wir waren dann angenehm überrascht: Alles sauber und sorgfältig eingerichtet, Klimaanlage funktionierte, in der kleinen Küche hat man alles vorgefunden, um sich selbst ein einfaches Frühstück zuzubereiten, und der Empfang und die Verabschiedung waren sehr freundlich. Da wir während unseres 2-tägigen Aufenthaltes nichts gebraucht haben, mussten wir nicht zum 150m entfernten eingezäunten Farmhaus gehen und die dortigen Hunde überzeugen, dass wir keine schlechten Absichten haben.
