In Uzbek we need adopter to charge as our charger pin does not fit. Stay at Samarkand, bukhara, khiva & finally Tashkent city. Friendly & honest people. Clean city good weather. We enjoyed our stay in Uzbekistan. Prices of taxi water and food was pocket friendly. I couldn’t try horse meat, if you wish you can. Plov is good. Ice cream is good. Their art is nice.

Don't linger here, treat it as a transport hub, the city has lost what charm it had from the soviet times and is now full of ugly construction plots, soulless glass boxes, and honking cars. Also, the city is craaazily russified, it's just sad to see these bits of colonial rule still doing strong( Just get out of here as soon as you can and explore the real charm of Uzbekistan elsewhere.

Every person in Tashkent goes out of the way to help you though the language is a barrier. If they see you need help they volunteer and come forward to help. Very friendly and hospitable locals. I would love to visit again for the cleanliness and the friendly attitude of the locals. The local cuisine was great.

It's just like any other big cities that there are museums, markets, monuments etc. I really enjoy the food in Tashkent, yummy and fresh. It's good that many people I encounter get to speak English and that saves my trouble.

We visited Tashkent as part of a private tour, we had overnight stays in Tashkent 3 times during our trip. The city is easy accessible, but don't expect to see a lot of historical (very old monuments or buildings), that is reserved for the other cities. The momument of the waiting mother (2nd worldwar) I found most impressive and I need to compliment the people that designed the set up with the books with all the names of fallen soldiers. Also impeccable maintained and recommend to go and see this impressive memorial.

Nice hotel with really friendly staff accepting both cards and cash (not a must in Uzbekistan). Daily room service, very quiet hotel right in the centre of Tashkent. Easy access to underground and beautiful parks. This hotel works under Islamic rules so they ask not to bring alcohol beyond reception. Rooms are small but cosy and have everything you may need- table, kettle, good bathroom with basic toiletries. Breakfast is nice and differs every day. Iroda, who works at reception is an absolute star!

The apartment is super cosy, clean and comfortable. You can find all you could forget for your stay (even medicine and 🪡 needles) quality of linen are at the good hotel standards, bathrobes a bit small in size. Welcoming heart of Uzbek nation feels everywhere so the Staff, neighbors are friendly and helpful. locates in the heart of Tashkent city with beautiful view to the park and fountains. shops and restaurants are walking distance. We are happy to choose Gardens Residence again for our next trip.

Location - 10 min to airport, to train station and 15 min to Tashkent City Clean rooms Delicious breakfast with good variety. I highly recommend this hotel. Soon we will back there again. I should say this is 4th time we visited Tashkent and among all hotels, this is the best one that experienced.

Mirzo Boutique is a very well designed boutique hotel. Loved the historic references to Uzbekistan’s Silk Road past. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, and the room overlooked the lovely gardens. Location is great, close to Chorsu Bazaar and Tashkent City Park. Hotel also provides all the complimentary toiletries etc which was really helpful as the airline lost my bag!

I moved from Intercontinental to Hayat Regency which they are next to each other same road few hundred meters away from each other. If you rate Intercontinental 5 star I will not give more than 1 star to Hayat Regency not comparable at all. The hotel is too old, corridors are old, rooms are old, washrooms are old. I will never ever go back to Hayat Regency Tashkent.

The location and value of the hotel were incredible. You cannot find a place for the kind of money in Tashkent. The location is right in city center and next to 2 metro stations. Also the city bus tour starts right at the entrance to the hotel. Breakfast is included. Friendly staff. Airport pickup. Taxi service. Rooftop bar and restaurant with great views of the city.

Very convenient location. We stayed here multiple nights because this was the only hotel that was within the prime area/city centre within our budget. Receptionists can speak English well and are very acommodating. Clean rooms which was the most important thing for me, so no complaints there. Will definitely consider staying here again if we come to Tashkent again.

I like everything… Anvar ( the owner ) is so nice and kindest person, he always happy to answer me and help. Breakfast was good. Staff are nice exactly woman who served breakfast ( she is really friendly and always smile ) location good and you can walk around till next mall and magic city. Quite safe area . That was the best Intercontinental I ever stayed at, and probably the best experience with hotels ever. The food was great, the personnel was extremely nice and helpful, and the spa and the pool were just top-notch. I could do lap swimming, and relax in a proper sauna after the workout.

Good location, the room is clean and spacious, near bus no 50 & 52 bring you to Tashkent metro station. Also Yandek taxi is cheap to centre. Helpful staff, they speak English, Samandar staff on duty at night shift very polite.
