This unit is in one of the more modern and newer apartment blocks in Strand's Beach Road. The uninterrupted views over False bay which include the magnificent sunsets makes this a special place to be. Strand is in the area known as the Helderberg which consists of Somerset West , Gordon's Bay and Strand.The great thing about staying in Strand is the ease of accessibility to most surrounding areas where the sightseeing and day tour opportunities are endless.
I started this journey of providing holiday accommodation in 2004 when we converted the cottage next door to our house , Sun Cottage , into a self catering unit. Since then I have acquired 3 more self catering apartments - 102 , 302 and 1102 all in Ocean View apartment block on Beach Road , Strand. I love going to the beach for walks , doing sunset picnics or trying to surf. I am also a keen yogi.
Strand beach is most probably one of the best and safest beaches in South Africa. Spoilt for choice with activities in the area and surrounds that include: walking on Strand’s famous long sandy beach ; swimming , surfing or fishing in the warm waters of False Bay ; playing golf at prestige clubs ; tasting award winning wines ; a wide array of day and night markets that offer live entertainment, craft stalls plus an awesome selection of edible and drinkable treats ; shopping at one of the many malls ; hiking or biking in the mountains or going for scenic drives - to mention but a few.
