The Banana House offers great privacy. It is separated from the main house by a lovely courtyard with steps up to the apartment. The newly landscaped water wise garden is situated between the apartment and the the elevated secure parking. The Banana House is centrally situated in Napier and within a few hundred meters walk from excellent restaurants like Napier Farm Stall and Pascals.
We are Yvonne de Wit and Herman van Bon. We are both artists (jewellery design and fine art photography). Our 'Private Gallery Napier' (just google) is usually open by appointment but we love to show our guests guests the gallery and the studio.
Except for eateries and a wine tasting venue within a few hundred meters there are, within this radius, amongst others a famous antique shop, a candle factory, a toy museum and a chess board maker. Within driving distance there are Arniston (40km), Struisbaai/Cape Agulhas (67km), Hermanus (70km) and Gansbaai (70km). We recommend a day tour to Cape Agulhas and then, via a gravel road, to Elim, Baardskeerdersbos (many artists), Gansbaai, Stanford and from there back to Napier. In total approx. 160 km. BTW Our neighbors are peace loving people and if you hear them tell us; it will be a rare occasion!
