The house is a impressive and very clean. Every need more than catered for. Even during loadshedding. The location is perfect. Great sightings from the comfort of the house.
Jabu, the housekeeper is a wonderful lady. Kind, helpful and available when needed. She did not intrude on our stay at all.
We will visit here again

The closeness to the Park and the solitude to enjoy the animals along the river from the patio.
Has a heard of elephant come past not more than 7meters away.
The sounds of hippos and the fish eagles.

Malelane is very beautiful and easy to get around.
Malelane is very beautiful and easy to get around. I loved the wild life the most, it was pleasant view to watch the birds and animals roaming around freely. The staff at the gate were very friendly and helpful. Wish I had more time to give a constructive review but went to the park for just half a day and managed to see some of the big 5 which was the purpose of my visit.

Pastana still remains for me the most affordable best and well managed accommodation in Malelane.
The Restuarant always meet my expectation of the wide spread of eats available.
Malelane is very easy to navigate. It has all the amenities to accommodate a travelers needs
The town is very clean .
I would avoid accommodation I have not visited before. A picture tell a thousand tales. But some can be very deceiving and uncomfortable.

Malelane town is totally unappealing.
Malelane town is totally unappealing. The only reason for staying in the suburb we stayed in was a) it is outside the town and b) is close to the Kruger Park entrance. We stayed in Mhlathikop suburb, which is nice and can be recommended.

Trying to find a contact person with regards to the booking is impossible.
Sometimes in real life, things happen totally out of your control like COVID that was a world wide epidemic and how do a person handle a situation like this?
I just had no contact number from Booking.com to assist us and lost the money. This will make me think twice next time I want accommodation

It is being in the Kruger National Park without having to pay park fees!!
Right on the Southern banks of the Crocodile river, the Croc River lapa is a place to visit again and again. There is peace to be found in the quiet when you sit on the veranda gazing out over the river and the abundant wildlife comes and goes in regular in intervals. See hippo, crocs, waterbuck, impala, warthog, elephants, other species and the occasional predator on the river while sitting on the veranda.
.The self catering unit had everything I needed. The unit was spotless and cleaned daily. I liked the view of the dam and the mountains from my unit. Reception was friendly and helpful always (engaged with Letta). The checking in and checking out was seemless. Thank you Letta for organising Almond milk for me; highly appreciated as adhering to a vegan diet can be tricky in foreign town. Thank you Jimmy for the game drive at Kruger National Park; the experience was priceless.
I loved to stay at Hhusha Hhusha because the room was cozy, comfortable and very clean. It was very close to Kruger (only 6 km from Malelane Gate) and it was really easy to get there early in the morning.
Despite it was a last minute reservation, everything went smooth.
The area was very safe and there were supermarkets and a shopping mall in the surroundings.
I liked that I could use the private car park that our hosts offered as a facility.
The hotel is quite delightful, with the proprietors ensuring we felt thoroughly at home, consistently enquiring after our well-being. Both dinner and breakfast were splendid. The rooms are charming, affording us a splendid view of Kruger Park, alongside the river teeming with various animals. This stands as one of the finest services I have ever experienced. The staff were exceedingly courteous and always greeted us with a smile.
The location is calming and surreal. The staff is amazing. The food is beautiful and tasty. The Chalets are lovely with a large bath and shower and a 270 degree view from the big bed. Restaurant area is wonderful with a bar, pool and lovely seating. We spotted buck, giraffes, butterflies, monkeys and more within the property. Kruger National Park Malelane gate is about 10 mins away excluding the time to drive the dirt road.
Overnighted at Mhlati Cottages before entering Kruger National Park during December. Very impressed with the service, stay and the location of the Mhlati cottages only a stone throw away from the Malelane gate. Ideally located and equipped for anyone that would like to travel into Kruger as a day visitor or as a overnight stop before entering. The breakfast offered was also excellent.
Superb location with views over the Crocodile River and Kruger Park. The staff so fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Service was always with a smile. Large comfortable, clean rooms with daily servicing. New towels daily(which is probably not necessary) and sheets are neatly made up and I suspect ironed as well! The Malelane gate into Kruger is only a 10-15min drive away
A very lovely quite place to sleepover when heading to kruger. So close to the Malelane gate and very relaxing. The host bought us snacks for the following morning because we left very earltly for kruger.... very friendly and helpfull host.
Room was clean and neat and the bed was big and comfortable. Will go back again when heading into kruger again.
The location very convenient for Kruger National Park, the rooms were large and comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked for cooking, and the shared living area was very comfy. There was a nice deck area and access to a backyard garden. The provided homegrown lemons and passion fruit were great. Loadsheeding was barely noticeable.
Location is great next to the river you can see the animals from your balcony and from the eating / viewing area.
The venue has a generator so there is always electricity & the aircon's work (needed)
Rooms are comfortable and have all the basics it's not a city hotel but everything was provided to keep the guest happy
In this lodge you have the most amazing view. You can see elephants, hippos e.g. while sitting on the porch or from the pool. The food was very good. The room was nice. The lodge is very close to one of the gates of the Kruger National Park. We stayed there just for one night, however would recommend to stay longer.
The location was fantastic. From the balcony, we could see, hippos, elephants, crocodiles, water, book, and more. The food was really good. The Hotel organized safaris to pick us up and drop us off at the hotel which was super convenient.
Loved the Buffet Dinner, Good food and affordable too! Loved the location, right next to Malelalane gate to Kruger! Loved the river view from the hotel restaurant. Nice pool, even though I didn't swim.
We loved our stay. We saw hippo, crocodile, impala, elephant, warthog, waterbuck across the Crocodile River in Kruger all from the deck. Enjoyed swimming in the pool and delicious breakfasts!
Great value, secure parking, quiet location, friendly and accommodating staff members, good food, fantastic view, and great location, being only 10 minutes from Kruger NP's Malelane Gate.
The quirkiness, the quiet restfulness, the position so close to Malelane gate, friendliness of staff and owners. Good views into Kruger across the river.
