One of the best places to visit, stunning places to eat, lots of little shops to purchase real Notties stuff, and the people there are so friendly, they love their visitors, will do anything to recommend a place to visit, or a place to eat, also they have so much to do, walking trails, cycling, canoeing, bird watching.

The rooms were really beautiful and spacious, and equipped with everything we could have wanted. The furniture all over the hotel is beautiful.
The gardens were breathtaking and really created such a relaxed atmosphere.
The brewery is definitely worth a visit to, for the beer and the gin. Both were really amazing!
The staff were very friendly and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble for them.

6 days is about enough time to do one route of the Midlands Meander thoroughly. I think 8 days was a bit too long this time, but it was extremely relaxing and we managed to have fun for every day that we were there.

Best was location, great staff, meals, pub atmosphere
Best was location, great staff, meals, pub atmosphere
The room was dated - not what I had expected & the lack of windows left a claustrophobic feeling. Also had requested a double bed & ended up with singles

Comfortable and homely. Fresh bread, milk, butter and eggs on arrival, as well as delicious 'cow' biscuits. Also tea, coffee and sugar is supplied. Beds were warm and comfortable on a chilly night; with a fireplace in the lounge area. Good-sized TV with a wide selection of channels. Although we didn't self-cater (as it was just a 1-night stopover for us), the cottage is well stocked with cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. The farm is very positioned with easy access to the R103 and just a short drive into Nottingham Road.
What an exceptional stay; this place had everything one could wish for and more. A welcoming Christmas card, freshly baked bread with farm butter, creamy milk and farm eggs were just some of the items provided to make sure one really felt at home. The superb beds, the fireplace with lots of wood provided and the fully equipped kitchen are just some of the amenities that made this such a memorable stay. To top it all, the quietness and serenity of the beautiful Midlands will stay with us for a very long time.
We loved everything about Little Prestwick during our recent 4-night stay. The view is exceptional, all the fittings and kitchen equipment are new and in perfect condition, and the inverter meant we were hardly aware of any load shedding. The bed is enormous, with lovely cosy warm bedding, and so comfortable! Nottingham Road is the perfect place from which to explore all directions of the Midlands Meander, and Little Prestwick the perfect base for this.
There is an inverter during loadshedding! The main room is massive and the home is decorated beautifully -modern and comfortable. There is a tv in each bedroom & lounge (Netflix incl)the daily cleaner js helpful & friendly. You can walk to the pub safely as it’s on the property. We’ll Defo be back!
It was big, homely and had everything we needed. The view!!!! Took a long soak in the tub. The eggs were yummy. The recommended hotel had a chilled vibe and yummy food. The owner communicated beforehand with the number to call on arrival, and met us at the house.
Breakfast was good, Staff were accommodating , tea and scones local dairy cream "ish" etc all freshly prepared, dinner good, fire side setting of the pub in a country hotel setting, worth the journey from the city.
Will book again in the future.
The location was relatively easy to find, once I got better directions from locals and property attendant. Units were VERY clean, VERY tastefully decorated. VERY comfortable and pleasant to stay in.
Beautiful location! Love the river that's a 3 minute walk down the property. Close to Nottingham road as well. Staff are super friendly. Extremely clean and cozy. Deffinatley will be back!
We staying in Fish Eagles Cottage. It was absolutely stunning so comfortable and the kitchen was so well equipped.
The cottages are beautifully appointed and the views are stunning.
Location is perfect, quiet and secluded but not to far from the highway and close to fabulous restaurants!
The Dam Cottage is beautifully appointed and beyond comfortable!
Friendly staff, lovely cottage with ample firewood and super comfy beds and linen. Well positioned for exploring Nottingham Road and the Midlands Meander.
