My husband and I spent a few days at this little Gem! We really enjoyed the sunsets and walks on the beach. The host was amazing and the venue is cozy and has all we needed.

We arrived at 19:30, we were met by the owner upon arrival, I asked for recommendations for nice restaurants to have dinner and he not only told us of nice restaurants, but he also even send us pin locations so we can choose. We really enjoyed our stay over at ATLANTIC studio.

The location is wonderful, because I love to walk on Melkbo beach, Nice restaurant near by and if you have My City card ( easy to get in all stacions , which have a covered tub(?)) Yoy also easy can travel to Big Bay beach and to new Table Bay shopping center. Melkbostrand also has little shopping center with Woolworths and Pick and Pay to by even food to warm in Mikrowave, because the kitzenet is small. There s a nice small garden - i loved it. There was a big nice bed.

Melkbosstrand is a lovely, unpretentious old-fashioned seaside town with a long, firm beach along the Atlantic ocean. There are supermarkets, filling stations, restaurants and coffee bars for each taste and budget. Nearby is a championship golf course and sports centre with Padel and tennis courts. The host is unfriendly and the facilities poor. Although the location is fantastic, short stays will be less frustrating. There is bore hole water and when the electricity goes off, either because of load shedding or just because, and this happens all the time, there is no emergency lighting (even if the owner have solar) and no water. This venue is not customer focused.

I liked the walking paths, shops and restaurants. The people are very friendly and kind. The scenery is also a winner. Only one downside, is the early closing time of the restaurants on the weekends. Avoid going out for a late snack, as most places will be closed. (We had to drive to Table View for Steers)

It was my third visit to Melkbosstrand, and I always love the peace and serenity of it. It will surely not be my last visit. Dinner at Damhuis was superb, and breakfast from Simple Bru Coffee Co was also fantastic. A weekend to remember for sure
