This place is just the worst.

This place is just the worst. Pics on the site is deceiving.... Not what I expected....i want my money back... I did not stay at this place... I don't know if this people expected animals would come and stay for the weekend.... If I stay away for a weekend, I expect it to home away from home... I was just not happy.... Broken tiles, broken door handles, dirty shower, cockroaches running on the table.... I'm so so disappointed in this place... Hideaway will never see me ever.

Fake pictures and place in very poor condition.

Fake pictures and place in very poor condition. No Covid 19 protocols and blatant disregard for regulations. Poor parking. Should have a shuttle for elderly. This neighborhood takes law in own hands and use parking shortage to keep their beach off limits.

We had the worst experience in this place.

We had the worst experience in this place. Upon checking in at 17:00 in the evening we were told we cannot check in due to a pipe burst which occurred 3 days ago and no contacted us to make alternative bookings nor did they have alternative accommodation for us. The worst part is that this was a lie, a man kept coming in and out of the building with laundry to show that there was water and when my friend asked to use the toilet there was water. They refused to refund us until we went to booking.com to sort out our issue, the receptionist at happy Rhino got all angry and emotional when we requested alternative accommodation and told us there is nothing he can do. We had to drive back home after making a booking a month in advance and everything was confirmed, I even called the place mid Feb to ensure all will be smooth on the day.

    It was a dump!

It was a dump! Our accommodation was a double garage with no windows in one bedroom and bathroom. A tiny window in the main bedroom and kitchen. I could not breathe, sat outside (no garden view as shown in the pictures)! Spent 1 night instead of 6 nights. Battled to get anyone to assist us. Spent an entire day looking for alternative accommodation. Still waiting for management to return our calls. Even went as far as visiting the main hotel in Cape Town City center but to no avail. We were being avoided. Need to be compensated for the other 5 nights!!!

The area of Llandudno is a very beautiful place and made the stay even more enjoyable. Everything is in close driving distance and was not hard to arrive to. The drive was good coming through constantia entering hout bay. Though we stayed for a short while and did not explore as much as liked, we will be back for further exploration and stay.
