The worse things ever at Shumba Valley Logde 1.Breakfast was too bad unable to prepare on time.And what is being displayed at the advert is not true,they misled traveller's food is limited only one flavour of juice,few muffins on the displayed everything must be requested there's absolutely nothing especially when you request for omelet there is nothing for topping only peppers, no mushrooms is an embarrassment.

The lodge priority is with having day visitors and not for the guests. Totally over crowded with visitors which means the guests cant use the facilities. The bath tap is the best feature. Having a proper shade outside would be great seeing that we cannot really sit outside during the day because of direct sunlight. The bathroom floor outside the shower needs to be cleaned properly they are sticky and not clean at all

Reception took over 20min to check us in after botching up the booking. Service at the bar took 15 min after calling the barman twice. Supper on the first evening took 90minutes from ordering. The 2nd night we were woken at 1am by drunk guest who made a disturbing noise until 2am. One Morning we were charged R190 for breakfast for 3x people & the 2nd morning R450 for 3x people. Prior to check out I asked that they have my invoice ready. On check out the lady said she is jusy with something else and she will email it to me. I have not received it yet & it will probably take 10x phone calls if they answer. Overall the stay was disappointing . The competence & friendliness of the staff is not up to standard. Me and my partner we enjoyed the bread sooo much and wish we had the recipe for ourselves. However, the portion of beans was too small. When you are enjoying the food offered is always satisfying to have enough portions. Overall the food was delicious. Lanseria is not a familiar pace for us so the location was good with other areas easily accessible.
