Pezula is conveniently situated on the outskirts of central Knysna, a bustling lagoon-side community, twice voted South Africa's favorite vacation town. In 2015, TripAdvisor Travelers Choice Awards named Knysna as South Africa’s no.2 destination. Its great scenic beauty and temperate climate are complemented by modern amenities and conveniences, including excellent health-care facilities, many fine restaurants, coffee shops and bars, art galleries, and museums. Knysna is a paradise for nature lovers and those who like the outdoors. The lagoon offers numerous water sports including sailing, canoeing, fishing, and skiing. The surrounding indigenous forests have marked trails for hiking and mountain biking. Various adventure sports on offer include quad biking, abseiling, kite surfing, ballooning, and paragliding.
