Friendly and safe town. Easy to get around. Avoid being ripped off by taxi drivers. The falls are a sight to behold, it was majestic. Zambesi cruise is a to do activity, have dinner in one of the restaurants afterwards. Instead of buying at the town market, take a trip to Mukuni village for affordable souvenirs to take home.

Lovely quaint little town, friendly people and clean.
Lovely quaint little town, friendly people and clean. Mosquitoes weren't too much of an issue. We walked the whole length of the town in one day, enjoying the sights and sounds. Very USD focused though, so plan accordingly.

Definitely one in the lifetime experience to visit this area.
Fine small airport to fly in and out.
It gets a bit hot during some of the months.

We booked a tour to Livingstone Island and Devil's Pool through LIFE ON THE EDGE. It was an awesome experience. Highlight of our trip. We paid $120 USD per person. Other tours charge more on viator and get your guide, but this is the only company that runs these tours so do not overpay by going through a middle man. Book directly. We felt safe the entire time. Well worth the money!

Getting around Livingstone was convenient as one can walk around the town or easily catch a taxi at an affordable price. There are many different cuisine options, be sure to try the local foods which were quite tasty. The Zambezi river cruise was my personal favorite activity.

Know the best time to visit the Falls as they are not the same year round. I went in October and the Zimbabwe side of Mosi-oa-Tunya was abundant whereas the Zambian side was dry. The best time to go to Livingstone for the falls is in March or April.
Activities are on the pricier side and may not appeal to regional travellers.
You can take a taxi to Chobe, it's 45 minutes away from Livingstone, so you can combine a safari with a Livingstone stay.
Everything from the staff, accommodation, transportation, proximity to airport, food were phenominal. Adrian personally drove me around town and beyond and his knowledge of the tourist attractions was beyond this world. His honesty and caring attitude came in handy for me since i have never been to Zambia leave alone the City of Livingstone. Keep up the good work young lad
The hotel manager is a real problem solver. A situation occurred that locked me out and with help from others the hotel manager made sure that it was solved. Also, very present and I could talk to him whenever needed.
Breakfast a la carte was very nice.
It’s in a park, so the chance you see animals in morning was realistic. Did not see though.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Mr Duane is very nice. He helped me to figure out the wifi issue and arranged a shuttle for me to the bus station although it is only 5 min walk.
The environment of the hotel is excellent.
The location is very convenient. It is only 5 min to the bus station and also near to Livingstone museum.
Nice restaurant and a nice swimming pool, with a great view over the river. Rooms placed nicely next to the riverbank forest clean, convenient rooms and bathrooms, hotel's own high class river cruiser, adventure tour office directly at the hotel, and of course dazzling Zambezi sunsets.
It was a great hotel. Staff could not have been more friendly. Pool was clean and lovely. Beds were comfy. The green space inside the hotel made the place feel cool and quiet, even though its right in the middle of town. Activities we booked worked really well. Altogether a great place.
Great place to stay in Livingstone. It may not be a 5 star hotel but sure feels like it. Great staff, clean, air conditioning, swimming pool, free breakfast, quiet, comfortable bed with mosquito netting, close to town surrounded by fruit trees and garden at a very affordable price.
Beautiful gem in the heart of Livingstone. Convenient to the airport and downtown. The Lodge runs its own tours and can connect you to other tour and adventure options. The manager and staff go above and beyond to ensure that you have an enjoyable stay in Livingstone.
Beautiful lodge in nice location, Very tastefully decorated, clean, spacious rooms! Very helpful and pleasant staff! I like the fact that its run by a Zambian family (as opposed to many other lodges we visited)!
Keep up the good work! :)
I really liked the river-view room on the Zambezi, with a lovely terrace. Staff was great, food excellent and the atmosphere on the Zambezi river magic! I loved the sunset cruise which leaves directly in front of the hotel.
Quiet location about 1km from the main road in Livingstone. Friendly and helpful owner with friendly team. Nice English Breakfast. Clean room with plenty of hot water and AC worked well. Safe neighborhood.
Breakfast was OK. Pool and surrounds and eating/bar area was nice. Good to have mozzie nets and aircon in bedrooms. Very good supermarket across the road. Livingstone is good and the activities amazing.
Loved the aesthetic of this hotel, the location on the river (a great location from which to spot the hippos), breakfasts were good, staff were friendly and overall great value for money.
Overall, this was a lovely hotel and I would stay there again. The location on the river was beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food in the restaurants was excellent.
The location was excellent with free entry to the falls. The gardens are beautiful, the breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. Also enjoyed free access to the Royal Livingstone
Great location. Complimentary airport transfers. Complimentary late check-out. Arrival drinks on a hot weather day of Livingstone. Spacious rooms. Huge meal portions. Great hosts.
