Gasthof Salzstadl offers modern rooms and apartments in the historic ambience of the medieval Ehrenberg Castle, right below highline179, the world's longest pedestrian suspension bridge. The centre of Reutte is a 5-minute drive away, and Neuschwanstein Castle is only a 20-minute drive away.

The place is amazing. Just under the highline 179 bridge. The place looks like an old valley and the rooms are new and so clean that it looks that we were the first guests who used it. The breakfast is very nice and tasty. The highline 179 is a must. And its entrance is like 70 meters frim the room.

    We had a great time at Ammerwald Alm. The room was comfy and clean, as well as the bathroom. The breakfast is included and very delicious, with all kinds of bread and a nice hot beverage, I ordered the cappuccino and it was delicious. We also had dinner there and they have a good selection of local dishes, probably the best schnitzel and kasspatz during our trip. The place is quiet and calm, it's not walking-distance from Plansee, but it's very close if you have a car. We absolute love it and would highly recommend it!
