We didn't find a profusion of wildlife as some reviews imply, but if you're reasonably patient, toucans will appear and monkeys will swing by, plus maybe an occasional macaw. Breakfast was very good, dinner was fine, we missed lunch most days. Excellent value if you can accept a few privations.DavidYoung couple

The included breakfast was great, as well as the dinner and drink options. The tents had electricity and we were provided with a fan, which made for a comfortable sleep. Just charge your devices in the common areas or you may cause a power outage that may not be restored until the next morning if the staff have gone to bed.

The place was clean and had nice little touches. I slept well here thanks to the air conditioning in the bedroom. The owners were very kind and made sure we had plenty of drinking water.

We enjoyed the communal table that guests shared for breakfast and dinner. The staff were great at organising excursions, driving you to meeting points and making sure breakfast was available for early starts. The owner has been in Drake for many years and uses the best guides and your providers.

The food was excellent, we stayed two nights and didn't eat the same thing twice for dinner or breakfast and everything was delicious. The staff were really attentive and helped us with our tours etc. Would definitely stay again.

You are in the middle of the jungle and surrounded by animals and plants. It was very relaxing and quiet. The owner prepares delicious breakfast and you can have a great dinner for a very reasonable price there. Absolutely recommend dining there instead heading to town! Everything was clean and you had mosquito protection in the room. The atmosphere is really nice and you have breakfast and dine with other guests, so it is quite easy to get in contact with each other, if you want to.FelixGroup

The best food I had in Costa Rica! - Juan Carlos and his family were very helpful during my stay, helping to arrange tours, and transport into town - The room is rustic-feeling, but very comfortable. The bed was big, and very comfortable too.
