Absolutely loved staying here, only wish we stayed more than one night! The room and accommodation itself is lovely and has a wonderful vibe to the place. The communal kitchen area is lovely. We were particularly impressed by the bathrooms - good shower, nicely fitted, with some cosmetics for communal use which is really helpful when you're travelling and can't pack/carry everything you would normally have. We were doing the Mullerthal trail so it was a lovely place to stop off for a night. The host was SO helpful as we were later arriving than we thought we would be, and her kindness was very much appreciated.

It was a ten-minute walk straight down the street to the hotel, which is sitting right next to the Porta Nigra (one of the most important sites in Trier). It is also at the beginning of the pedestrian zone. Perfect for someone arriving by train, but they also have free parking if you come by car. The breakfast was also excellent with lots of options, and there is no problem getting gluten-free options. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Great value.

The Kaufland superstore with an excellent bakery section and an instore bakery outlet and a huge variety of fresh and frozen and tinned food just down the road. The sidewalks were salted before 6 in the morning!! The city itself.
