    The dinner here was outstanding ! We were here at the end of the summer season so many things were closed but the kids enjoyed the paddleball court and we enjoyed walking around the property and hiking around Puumala.

    It was quiet with a nice back porch ! We enjoyed the breakfast and the ability to wander around the property even after checking out! The dinner at the restaurant was one of the best we ever have had —- and we have been around :). We enjoyed seeing all the rental options for our family for next time!

    Loved the proximity to the lake, morning sauna and woods filled with chanterelles. Which we promptly cooked and enjoyed for dinner.

    Wonderful location, in June this was like Finnish Riviera. The food was excellent in dinner and in breakfast. Truely a gem in Saimaa.

    Beautiful lake view, very cozy cottage with stylish interior! Great location for hiking and experiencing the Finnish way of living (wooden sauna, lake swimming etc.)

    Pia is an exceptional host. A stay at Rantapappila is a real treat. I liked the many bath products, the free sauna, the terrace, the garden view, the chats with the other Finnish guests, and especially the possibilities to enjoy the environment of Puumala. There is so much to do and to experience: Norpapolkku, Nestorinranta, Niinisaari, Saimaa Canoeing, Sahanlahti,…we were glad we had booked for six nights.
