Room was excellent. Dinner in the Birnam was lovely, great choice on the menu and quality to match, along with service made both nights memorable which is what you expect from a hotel of this standing.

Dinner was excellent, as was breakfast. The staff could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. The restaurant, the bar, and the reception areas are all attractively decorated. Our room was good too.

We ate breakfast in our respective lodges but enjoyed dinner in the both the Whisky Bar on and in the Monteith Restaurant. The food was more than adequate and there was a good selection for the children and a good variety of gluten-free options.

Absolutely wonderful hotel, with terrific facilities, lovely big rooms and friendly, efficient staff. The breakfast buffet was quite exceptional and dinner in The Strathearn was unforgettable.

The food was fine - my wife and I had dinner on the first night in the restaurant, and then with our family (8 adults; 4 children) we had dinner as a group in the Whiskey Bar one night and the restaurant on the second night. On both occasions the food was fine - no complaints and the staff were very competent to deal with a melee of adults and toddlers! We ate breakfast in our respective lodges. The lodges were very good - roomy, well equipped etc. etc. - could not really fault them in any way at all.

Stunning location and just a 5 min walk to the hotel. Mike was extremely helpful and met us on arrival. Apartment was very comfortable, a few little extras left for us such as bread, milk. biscuits, tea, coffee etc which were appreciated. Hotel is amazing, we treated ourselves to afternoon tea which was lovely and indulgent. Even got to see Deer running around and to watch the falconry training, all from our apartment window. Recommend Hendersons in Auchterarder for dinner which was about 1.5 miles away
