Very friendly people, beautiful location with very nice garden, good ffod, nice atmosphere.

Set across 2 buildings, Bower House Inn is quiet hotel, set in beautiful countryside. With free WiFi, rooms feature TVs and tea/coffee making facilities.
The room was very clean. The staff were very friendly and the food delicious and reasonably priced. The location was fantastic with lovely views and very easy access to great walks.
Holmrook (Near Boot)
The award-winning Bridge Inn is set in the picturesque valley of Wasdale in the Western Lake District. It offers real ales, home-cooked food and is 15 minutes from Scarfell Pike, England’s highest mountain.
What a fantastic little find. Very nicely updated and appointed rooms. Lovely large bar and restaurant. Staff was friendly and helpful and the local canine customers were delightful as well . Would definitely recommend to anyone exploring the Western Lakes.
