We loved our quirky room. It was quiet and clean. Lots of hot water for the shower. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty, full English if you wished with other options as well. The food in the pub was excellent as was the beer. A very convivial place!

The location is just outside of town with a bus close by... perfect. The room was clean and comfortable for a short stay. The double bed was comfy. Having the restaurant available for dinner was very handy and breakfast was just delicious... We were very happy with our stay.

The bar area and adjoining restaurant are extremely pleasing....what you might expect from a country inn and more. The breakfast is substantial, the car park at the rear is large and the Village Room is spacious. And the staff are pretty good too.

The garden made for a lovely spot for a couple of drinks on a sunny afternoon, dinner in the restaurant was delicious, and the room was incredibly comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again and can’t wait to go back!
