Sheep walks everywhere on the site. We loved it. However, it can be a problem for those who stay with dogs. Our corgi felt excited in the beginning, but ignored them later. We loved this place!

So, it’s easy to travel to places within the area. The hotel was recently rebuilt due to a fire, but in the old style. It’s family owned and run and the owner was frequently available in the bar most evenings and a great source of local knowledge. Very friendly staff in Bar and restaurant and a full evening dinner service was available.
