The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful at every turn. Appreciated the hotel shop at reception when I wanted a can of coke. The dinner I had in the Garden Bar was lovely. The room was compact but cosy, comfortable and well set up with a good shower.

The location is excellent, a 5 minute walk to Old Trafford & Mediacity UK, situated directly on the canal and is within walking distance of the tramline to go either into Manchester City centre or the Trafford Centre. The food at dinner is outstanding for the price.

Everything was perfect. The room and hotel itself were brilliant and very unique and the staff were all happy and helpful. We ate both dinner and breakfast in the hotel which were both spot on.

Lovely hotel! Super easy to get to the city centre from the hotel. The parking is literally over the road at the ao arena which is really convenient and we didn’t have to walk far to get to the hotel. The rooms are super clean and spacious and the dinner and breakfast was excellent. The staff are really friendly and I will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Manchester!

The service and the room worth more than we pay for. Even though the breakfast is included in the room charge and I expect it is just toast, sausage, coffee and tea, the reality is more than I expected! Staying in the Residency Inn by Marriott brightened my trip!

True to picture in fact even more lovely in person. Very calming view of the canal. Building is surprisingly quiet with a barbershop and shisha lounge below. Lots of shops and within walking distance of Spinningfields.

We have had a problem in another accomodation so we had to book Bankwell guest house last minute. The host quickly confirmed us, was very friendly. Overall, the experience was great, we had all we needed for a 1 night stay.

I love that you can take your dog with you (not that we did on this occasion but after seeing all the wonderful pooches, we might next time). The building has such a rustic, young neighbourhood vibe that made me feel youthful again. The bar area on the ground floor is the perfect place to meet up with friends or chill with a book and a hot drink. We loved being able to make our own dinner in our apartment and the kitchen had all the necessary utensils.
