It's warm, comfy, cosy & well equipped. It's excellently located being just a few mins walk from the harbour, pubs & deli. We had a lovely meal at the Ship Inn overlooking the harbour & we were warmly welcomed as we were on our previous visits. The little buses into Penzance are regular & reasonable with very friendly drivers - £2.50 adult return as of Jan 2024. We look forward to returning again.

I had a room with a view and the room was as if it had been newly refurbished. There was housekeeping that sorted cleanliness, towels and biscuits each day:) I was there for a course, reading Shakespeare's Antony and Cleopatra a short walk away in the Solomon Hall. Food and drink can be had in the bar at The Ship, which also has a restaurant and 2 Fore Street, again round the corner had reasonable lunches - great soups.
