The hosts were very kind, we arrived much later than the usual check-in time and they waited for us, despite the delays. The location is excellent, really close to the beach and the wedding venue, which we attended. The breakfast is personalised and tasty. Let's just say that people who share their home with a Golden retriever are guaranteed to be good hosts.

This charming 400 year old coaching inn is situated just 5 miles from the famous golfing town of St. Andrews. We pride ourselves on the warmth of our welcome and the great food and ales we serve. Enjoy all this in cosy surroundings with open log fires and lots of things to do both within the inn and surrounding area.

Room was lovely (although we had a little trouble getting the BBC to work on the tv), staff amazing, breakfast fantastic. Despite having no common space for working while on business, staff were extremely accommodating. One of my new favourite spots to stay in St Andrews.

Good selection of teas, etc., and mini fridge for any additional drinks you may have brought with you! Totally dog friendly and a safe space at the rear of the Inn. Welcoming hostess, Annette, with the pub's resident laid back golden retriever, Harris, made our stay even more enjoyable. Lovely little restaurant, intimate, great vibe in the little bar area, and, no restriction on where your dogs were allowed to be. We'll be back!!!BlairYoung couple
