My room was a good size and the bed was really comfy. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. Had and evening meal which was really nice and breakfast the next day was very good too. The hotel car park was full but you can park on the road outside.

Amazing B&B. Stunning house in a great location in Shanklin village. It had a feel of a boutique hotel more than a guest house. Kept spotlessly clean by the owners. Little added extras of lovely soaps & sweet smelling diffuser in the room was appreciated. The continental breakfast was delicious with different fresh fruit /yoghurt each day. An absolutely beautiful garden at the back. Wow a mini Shanklin Chine. Definitely a lovely place to stay

We had ourselves an amazing time at The Miclaran, brilliant setting for a weekend break away from the mainland. We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable at the guest house, the breakfast was cooked to perfection. The best thing must have been the Seaview from our room. Gardens are also fantastic. Alan and Sue are fantastic guest house owners and really know their stuff when it comes to their knowledge of the island.

The staff were great and very helpful : the two ladies at check in, the housekeeping staff, the lady who served us at the bar and the gentleman who made us dinner (the nachos were delicious and very generous at a small price!). Thanks to everyone for a warm welcome :)

Very nice place to go. But the flat above need to be a bit more notes of the time. Washing machine spinning and making a loud nose at 9 pm and 10pm Was not good. But has for apartment it has everything you need to have a good time.

Super relax and naturally friendly people working there, looked after us very well. Very, very good location, quiet with a sea view , LIFT near by to the beach down and up. 😃. Proper dog friendly, so we could eat breakfast, dinner , have a coffee with a dog.❤️ honestly, I can’t think of anything slightly wrong, everything was excellent.

This review refers to the Channel View Hotel, sister of the Brunswick, as we were transferred due to a water leak. Staff went out of their way during incredible high winds and rain to feed hotel guests in the evening even though dinner was not included normally .
