This is my second time coming to this lovely hotel. We got upgraded to a bigger room, although all rooms are big! The hotel staff were so nice, and accommodating to our needs. Beds, room, toilet, are comfy and modern, you feel like you're at your home but on holiday! We extended our stay there, because everything was just perfect! I'd definitely recommend it to anyone going to Truro.

The self-service continental breakfast was excellent. The owner gave us lots of very useful advice about local restaurants for our pre-theatre dinner. The accommodation was within easy walking distance of the Hall for Cornwall.

We enjoyed 3 nights in this wonderful hotel. We upgraded our room to a junior suit for the bathtub and we did not regret it!As the weather was not the best in February, having a bathtub as well as an ample shower really helped. No noise and close to the carpark was ideal too.Wonderful breakfast every day as well as dinner. We were delighted with our stay as the hotel is really something to remember. We will be back.

Large comfortable room, roomy bathroom. Coffee, tea etc in the room with fresh cookies. Hard working, friendly staff. Food excellent, good choice, breakfast & dinner. Good position to be able to walk to town. Only comment would be another bar situated in the hotel because if there is a wedding there doesn't seem to be an area to have a quiet drink, as at the time we stayed it the bar was full of wedding guests.

The location was lovely. Lots of views of birds ( the pheasants run alongside the car) and deer. We had to brake hard when 1 deer appeared followed closely by 4 more, We were advised of some pubs and restaurants to visit, Our first night we went to The New Inn and found our hosts were also there. Good sign for us that the place was good. The house has a fantastic wet room and the whole place was lovely and warm.

the room was a good size, very comfortable with plenty of refreshments. I ordered a sandwich as a light dinner, the portion was very generous, fresh and tasty. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble
