Nita , gandya and the entire staff was amazing. They actually were so genuine and cared about us. Small things like fixing helmet, to making sure the road is clear for us to go, to ensuring we had a pleasant day... The staff went over and beyond their roles. The food was incredible. We actually did not go anywhere else for dinner and lunch and only ate at Gumi Ayu. Turmeric rice with curry was heavenly. Lovely location and weather made the overall stay one of the best stays ever.

We really loved our short stay at Candra Cottage and wish we could have stayed for longer. The property is situated beautifully between rice paddies and the hosts are amongst the friendliest people we met in Indonesia, not to mention the wonderful home-cooked meals.

Waking up in the very early morning and watching the sunrise over the mountains and ricefields across the street is simply amazing. The staff is very kind and helpful. Our taxi stopped down at the homestay and there where already two employees walking down to welcome us and carry our bags. Before checking in they offer you a delicious welcome smoothie and after checking in you get guided to the apartment. The breakfast is decent and the restaurant for dinner is cheap and good tasting.
