It's located slightly on the edge of the city which we enjoyed, since Shillong itself gets quite hectic. Ashang and his staff took great care of us with making breakfast and dinner for us. The food was simple, homely and very nice. We had 4 good nights here. We were also allowed to wash our clothes there. We used the place as a starting point for 2 day trips to the beautiful sights in Meghalaya.MrForestBelgium

From getting a faulty heater replaced instantly to providing us with excellent help and support in getting our car fixed - late evening this was, I might add, and he came to meet us and guide us all the way into the city where we were stuck - he was just unbelievable as a host. We will definitely be staying at Shillong Hills guest house again, soon.AjishnuIndia

Breakfast is very good and there is variety in what is served (we stayed 2 nights). Ms Shanti who runs the place is very friendly. She arranged a taxi for us to go to the airport. Location is good - you can easily reach the place by taxi (telling the driver you want to go to St. John's Church in Laban which is just in front of the guest house) or to walk - it is a nice residential area. Overall, it's worth the money you pay.
