We had a wonderful stay in Locanda Il Monastero. We were welcomed by a very kind Lady at the reception. The surroundings are beautiful. The breakfast was excellent. The parking place is very close to the hotel, but there is a small parking lot in front of the hotel, so you can park there while taking out the suitcases from your car. Our apartment was very clean and new. Higly recommended, we would like to come back.

We were biking the via Francigena and all of the restaurants in the area were closed so he agreed to cook a simple dinner for us. We did not know that he cooked at his own restaurant before and it was fantastic and included local wine and grappa. He introduced to his animals, aunt and his 103 year old neighbor Alda who is amazing
