Steps from the San Basilia waterbus stop, easy access to the hotel. Lovely location on the waterfront with lots of restaurants in front. The staff at the front desk were exceptional, helpful in making dinner reservations, providing directions and suggestions. Breakfast was perfect with lots of hot and cold choices.

Very comfortable apartment with the highest ceilings and the most thoughtful equipment, more sockets, closets, and hangers any group of people could need. Bright and airy with a view to a local canal where one can experience the hustle and bustle of real Venice. Over many small bars and taverns that stayed open later than the central ones. Very convenient and quiet balcony in the back for our smoking need...

Mattio is a true innkeeper. He cares about the experience that people have in Venice. He took the time to suggest good places for us to explore. He went out of his way to help us with arrival and departure.

Outstanding value for a place like Venice; staff very friendly and competent, even made dinner reservations for us to a restaurant that was off the beaten, tourists' path, and where locals go to enjoy great food (Taverna San Trovaso - it did not disappoint, either!); highly recommended!

Really quirky apartment in a wonderful, quiet, safe, location in Venice. The communication from Corinne before arrival, and during stay was exceptional, nothing was a trouble to ask her and she was able to give some really good recommendations during the stay. The apartment is on the top floor of the building, but its rustic Italian charm makes the climb up the stairs worth it was the lovely views. Having the air conditioning unit and fans in all the rooms was also really helpful, as it was very hot during our stay,

I really enjoyed staying at this quiet and tucked-away Venetian pensione away from the crowds while still enjoying the surrounding restaurants and bars. The room and ensuite was spacious, clean and modern. Staff were super friendly and very accomodating. I enjoyed having breakfast within the inner courtyard each morning before heading out for the day.

The a delightful BnB, just a 3 minute walk to the train station with only one bridge to cross with our luggage. Breakfast was homemade baked goods, w/fruit salad, juice, yogurt and coffee. Courtyard was a rare and charming bonus, a lovely retreat after a long day. The day we left we sat outside and someone was playing the flute nearby, idyllic!! Our hostess Luana was attentive and very helpful with information and booked our dinner reservation. Rooms were spacious with a comfortable queen bed. Lots of nice osterie/ taverne nearby too.

Staying here is like re-entering simple times, before modern hotels when all you had was a family run pensione in a quirky building and friendly staff. The rooms are rustic and charming and the bathrooms in the hallway provide what you need. This is not a luxury place but the views over the water are stunning. This pensione is uniquely Italian and Venetian and adds to your experience in Venice in a good way.

The best host I've ever had. The guest house has a very unique location right next to the Ponte Chiodo with a nice view. Well served breakfast in a beautiful garden and all staff are very polite. The host shared a lot of useful local tips what to visit and where to have a nice dinner.
