The four course dinner at Nutheim is made of local ingredients and gives the food a homemade feeling that matches the welcoming home-feeling from the hostess presenting the food and the history of the hotel. Dinner is served with excellent wine or beer from the hotel’s own microbrewery. The breakfast buffet is traditional for Telemark and includes homemade bread and jam.
The four course dinner was delicious and beautifully presented! Ellen, the owner, told us the interesting history about the area before dinner. The next day she gave us a tour of the parsonage and chapel, which had been her childhood home. She made our stay so personal and special. It was a rainy fall day outside but inside it was cozy and we were able to sit by the fire for a relaxing morning.
