We went with three kids aged 8-12, and that was good, yet the hotel does value peace and quiet and relaxation. We were warmly welcomed every day, had excellent dinners and food overall, and were happy with price-quality balance. The hotel is also in a great location for hikes and trips to the Serra da Estrela, and overall we had a really great time.
