The hotel organises an important range of indoor services such as massages in our spa room, live band swahili dinners happening in the tea house on the roof top and outdoor activities including visits to Stone town and Spice plantations.

I liked the aesthetics and how peaceful it was.

The hotel is beautiful and seemed to be well kept. We enjoyed our stay a lot. The food was very good. We ate both dinner and breakfast at Mizingani. If you take the ferry, the location is very ideal

Really friendly and helpful staff and the room was comfortable and clean. I chose a dorm and had a two really good nights sleep as I was the only guest. The breakfast was superb and kept me full until dinner.

Great location! All the staff were so welcoming and friendly. A special mention to Salim Richard who served us a dinner. He was so kind and up for a chat. Made us feel so welcome. Our room was nice. We stayed in building across from main building but felt it was very private and we always had the pool to ourselves. Easy and safe to walk to main building for food or any needs.

We really enjoyed our night at Kisiwa House ! The hotel is well located in the town and well decorated. Thank you for your warm welcome and kindness! The staff was friendly and very helpful. We booked stone town walking tour, prison island and Nakupenda beach with their guide and everything was perfect ! The room was spacious, quiet, clean and very comfy !! We had our breakfast and dinner at the terrace, the food was really good and the view is beautiful. We highly recommand it !!

This place was a hideen gem. The hostel is one of the oldest guest house in the city, full of old photographies an objects, carpets on the floor and spaces were to sit and relax. Amazing rooftop with view on the port and the sea life. Nice sunset. The stuff extra friendly, the girls who served breakfast as well, take care of the details. They can order food for dinner or lunch in case you need it. Walkable distance from the centre.

Everything. The location is beautiful so lush and green perfect to unwind and relax. The staff and management are so attentive and friendly 10/10. The fact that housekeeping visits again after sunset to spray the room to prevent mosquitoes at night is very thoughtful. I love that breakfast is made to order therefore guaranteed freshness. Lunch & dinner the same. The food is very good. It’s just so peaceful. You are in nature.

Great breakfast with a lot of options. The rooms are rustic and the location is a walking distance from the ferry station. One can easily walk around Stone Town from the hotel. The staff was friendly and helped us organize our excursions. Stayed there for one night on my way to Kiwengwa.

Happy to help where possible. Breakfast: tasty and fresh! And of course, that view!!!
