Pretty creative environment and cabines/huts/cottages. Really liked hot it is inside. Cosy.

Sønderborg Airport is an hour’s drive away. Peaceful location in lovely grounds. Not a standard hotel - a bit more communal (unforced) eg all eat dinner at 6 pm with a focus on finding peace and slowing down . Many rooms to read and study in. The manager showed us around and explained the concept even though we were really just passing through. Also very good value for money by Danish standards

Room was large , very clean and had excellent external as well as interior lighting. Comfortable bed and clean, bright toilet . Reception was very friendly. Stored bike right in room . Breakfast was very good and with multiple food options . On-site restaurant was quite good with reasonable price point .

This hotel is set in a renovated 1790s building. The hotel restaurant offers traditional Danish cuisine and imported Italian wines. Guests can relax in the garden, where a small river runs through and a children's playground is found. This is an excellent inn for those who want to have a good time near Billund. The location is extremely accessible, the staff is nice and helpful and there’s a lot of peace and quiet everywhere. The food at the restaurant is amazing! I would recommend this location to all those who need some time away from busy cities.

Established in 1842, the charming Tambohus Kro is an inn that enjoys a unique location by the Limfjord opposite Jegind Island and close to Thy National Park.
