We absolutely loved this cute hotel. What a find it was to have a comfortable, clean and such a pretty hotel in such an exceptional location. We loved it all. The room was small but fine and we were able to watch sunset from out little window. All the rooms are quite lovely and actually all different so be specific. Our shower was excellent however some rooms have baths so ask if this is your preference. The wonderful staff went out of their way to make us happy so that’s why I saw so many rooms. The parking is just behind the hotel and so easy. We checked in and then walked the coastal path to Tintagel and this was awesome and not too hard .. about an hour and then be rewarded with lunch etc at one of the gorgeous pubs before the much easier walk back. Dinner and sunset drinks were lovely too.

Hospitality, exceptional. Breakfast, superb. Room size quite small, a bit uncomfortable -but the availability of the downstairs lounge area fit the bill very nicely. The cheery innkeeper was a wonderful source of information, and even went extra by driving us to the bus stop up the hill. Couldn’t ask for anything more.
The old tavern part of the Inn is full of charm. A lot of locals come there to eat and have a pint, which says a lot!!!! Food was fantastic. Large portions of home cooked meals. We stayed in the auxiliary - motel style part at the back/side of the Old Inn. Room was very spacious with good bedding Pricey for what you get, but the location is great and there is not a lot of accommodation right in Tintagel
The owners take great care of their guest house and inn. Facilities were excellent. Breakfast very nice and substantial.
Zennor is in an insanely peaceful town, but staying at the Tinners Arms really feels like you're a fantasy adventurer who's wandered to a tavern and met sociable and hospitable group. I was here looking for inspiration for a story, and I've certainly found a lot here and from the church next door.
The Dolphin Tavern was an excellent stay! The host was attentive and helpful. The food at the tavern was delicious, both for breakfast and dinner.
Great location within easy walking distance to both train and bus stations. A very old tavern full of atmosphere, wood and brass and nautically themed. Room was clean and bright with a sea view. Tea, coffee, biscuits and fresh milk provided. Excellent breakfasts, dinners and menu choices. So good we had dinner there every night! . Staff and owner couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We were sorry to leave but will definitely be back!
The whole experience was wonderful! We stayed in the family garden suite and It was so lovely, giving you that private feeling but with the facilities of breakfast and a lovely restaurant. I was expecting a nice but small room, inside the historic inn however it was spacious and private, set to the back of the building with so many thoughtful touches. The staff were relaxed, friendly and very welcoming nothing was too much trouble and I would highly recommend. If I visit the area again it would be my first stop!
Lovely historic inn with lots of character and friendly. Very helpful staff. Nice food and generous portions. Room very clean fresh and cosy. Nice grounds.
Very Highly Recommended Guest House Superb Accomodation in an excellent location for beach, shops.bars etc. Extremely clean, light and airy. Very Covid friendly. Dave & Jo very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The food is excellent and plentiful .Beds unbelievably comfortable. Free Car parking outside in the evening ( if available) and Pay and Display Car Park across the street We had the most amazing holiday with our family and to cap it all the weather was beautiful - sunshine from beginning to end so what's not to like :)
Staff were very helpful. Food was very good "pub grub". Excellent breakfast, dinner was as good, especially the "rustic fries" Facilities were good, bed was comfortable and plenty of space within the room.
